We haven't posted anything since March of 2020 because of obvious reason. Trying to think of what to do with this page in the meantime. I've personally been tinkering with some budget gaming builds in the last couple of months and they're almost ready for sale.

Let's hope we can run some more events starting in 2021.

Oh it's been very quiet on here.

So I've decided to do a budget used parts gaming pc build.

I ended up getting I fully loaded Dell Optiplex 990 MT i7 2600 3.4ghz 16gb ram 1tb HDD w/ Win10 pro.

a 240gb sdd for the OS to be placed on.

a 600w power supply

and a MSI Radeon RX 470 8gb GPU

My goal was to aim for $300 but everything including shipping costs came in at $347. The pc part was the most expensive part but since it was fully loaded it was worth the extra money spent.

Once everything arrives I will do some build updates on here.

Some advice for anyone wanting to do a used part budget build. Research the parts needed and do the work on finding all the parts at reasonable and affordable prices. It's really not worth buying new parts for this except maybe the power supply.

My gaming usage for this will mostly be Emulation, Platformers on PC , and Fighting games on PC. I'm not much of a RPG or 1st person Shooter gamer.

I've also done a Raspberry Pi4 4gb retro gaming emulation build with 2 arcade controller builds. I will do a post about that one to later on.

A night dedicated to all our Sisters in gaming.
