Need more players for February 16-18 at the flyers training center in Voorhees NJ hmu if interested in playing

The final 2 youth games will be played in the whitehall rink tomorrow at 6 and 730 if anyone wants to go and cheer the kids on it will be the last chance to see games in that building.

So between this page and the change.org petition we have reached over 1500 people in less than a week, the support we are getting is amazing and I hope to get more outreach to grow the movement and hopefully get some important people involved as well as more of our hockey community, and also the figure skating community. I have talked to many parents and players who are so distraught over losing our home rink and then scrambling to figure out where everyone will play next season. I welcome any kind of help as we move along. We are just a message away. Thanks everyone for the support!

Future plans in doubt for local hockey clubs, as local ice-skating rink prepares to close Whitehall Township will be saying goodbye to the Rink at Lehigh Valley that has been in the community for nearly 30 years.

So I was informed that the Whitehall rink will be transformed into an indoor gun range.... let's take away an ice rink that kids use to put an indoor gun range which we already have 3 miles north of the rink. We really need to reach out to people in the community to get help with a new rink.

The Fresh Sticks Hockey Team is off this week in Whitehall spring league and are sad the rink will be closing its doors end of May. The Rink at Lehigh Valley in Whitehall, PA has given our team so many great memories and opportunity to get to play the game of hockey that will be missed be all very much! can you please help save hockey in our area and bring us another hockey rink to play the game at?

I am open to any and all suggestions on who to talk to or what to do in regards to finding a pathway to a new rink. Tag people or send private message, fully motivated to move forward.

Popular ice skating rink in Lehigh County has been sold The general manager tells us the new owners will not be keeping the property as an ice rink.

So with the sad news today that whitehall ice rink will be closing for good and that is devastating to the kids who play hockey in the lehigh valley being that most of the teams play there in the lvshl. Alot of kids got their start at that rink and will now lose alot of opportunity. This also goes for the kids that just want to free skate and works as well with figure skaters, so many kids will miss out on ice time whether its competitive or recreational. My goal is to start a movement to get help from professional teams to high school and colleges all the way to any other people who would sponsor the movement. Would like help from any and all other parents who feel the way I do about this loss to our hockey community. We need another rink to ease the stresses of ice time availability and the movement I'd like to start is to find an investor or to raise money to build a new rink in our community and looking for any and all help to help move this movement along.
