There was a Santa sighting in New Jersey! Walgreens in Linden recently organized a Christmas event for the children of team members, including CPC drivers. A member of Walgreens’ management dressed up as Santa and handed out gifts to the kids. There were also arts and crafts, games and photo opportunities with Santa.

Last night, the team at CPC Logistics’ headquarters in St. Louis along with several division managers and retirees celebrated the career of a true legend. For 42 years, Butch Wallis has contributed to making CPC the proud company it is today. In his most recent role as CPC's president, Butch capped a career where he has served in many important positions, adding great value every step along the way.

At the end of this year, Butch is heading into a richly deserved retirement. We will be providing more insights on Butch's epic career journey in the upcoming edition of Tandem Talk, but in the meantime, please join us in wishing Butch and his wife Traci (pictured with him below) "fair seas and following winds" as he transitions into retirement. Yesterday Daniel Staab, a CPC Logistics driver assigned to Procter & Gamble, successfully delivered a truckload of wreaths to cemeteries in Lexington, Kentucky, in preparation for National Wreaths Across America - Official Page Wreaths Across America Day this Saturday. Join us in remembering the fallen, honoring those who serve, and teaching the next generation the value of freedom.

CPC Logistics is honored to participate in Across America - Official Page this year. Daniel Staab, a veteran and CPC driver assigned to Procter & Gamble, recently picked up a truckload of wreaths in Auburn, Maine, that he is delivering to cemeteries around Lexington, Kentucky, today. The wreaths will be placed on the graves of fallen soldiers in time for the National Wreaths Across America Day ceremonies.

We are proud of drivers like Daniel for going the extra mile to give back this holiday season.

Driver Patrick Kellenberger, assigned to John Deere Shared Services in Davenport, Iowa, demonstrated the CPC value of doing what is right by assisting a fellow driver in need. After recognizing the driver’s chassis had caught fire, Patrick jumped into action and helped extinguish it.

This National Philanthropy Day, we applaud the charitable efforts of our very own Regional Manager, Sam Currie. Sam has volunteered for the annual Autism Speaks Walk in Chicago for the past 12 years.

“I am passionate about giving back in as many ways as I can, and I know autism is something that affects many people around the world,” Sam said. “It is a pleasure to help out at this event that brings people together to work toward a common goal.”

This Veterans Day we are recognizing Peter Cuminale for his service not only to CPC, but also to his country. A driver assigned to Walgreens in Jupiter, Florida, Peter served in the United States Navy as a structural, hydraulic and pneumatic jet mechanic for an A-6 Intruder squadron from 1975 through 1981. He celebrated 28 years with CPC November 3. Thank you for your service, Peter!
