Exciting news for all cat lovers and fans of Aaron's Animals!

We are thrilled to announce that the incredible Aaron's Animals, along with his talented feline friend, Prince Michael, will be joining us at the CFA Cat Expo. This moment feels like a dream come true, especially since it all started as a simple wish to have them when we first began having feline influencers attend the CFA International Cat Show.

If you've been captivated by Aaron's amazing special effects and charming creations, you'll understand just how exciting this is.

Join us at the CFA Cat Expo to meet Aaron and Prince Michael in person. They'll be greeting fans all day, and you might even be lucky enough to catch Prince Michael showing off his piano-playing skills! Meet Angus the Maine C**n Cat!

"This is Highlander Angus Kilwillie (Angus), age two. He is pretty unimpressed with regular cat toys. He would much rather play fetch with my daughters’ Barbie fishing poles, Barbie hockey sticks, and American Girl accessories (particularly the teaser wand featured in the Animal Rescue set). He also loves to carry around Little Live Pet baby hamsters, thieve my daughters’ Folkmanis squirrel puppets, or hang out with real Furbies.

At 10am most weekdays, Angus will drop a toy plastic stick of some sort at my feet, stand on his hind legs, and poke me in the back through my office chair until we play fetch. His Littermate, Highlander Elsa (Elsa), usually looks upon his antics with a dignified version of “there he goes again” unless there is a crinkle wand involved. In that case, all bets are off, and she gives him a run for it.

Maine C**ns are such exceptional creatures, and sharing a home and a life with them is a delight, truly! "

The Siberian is a medium to large cat with the overall appearance of excellent physical condition, strength, balance, power, and alertness, modified by a sweet facial expression. Extremely intelligent—as befits a natural hunter—the Siberian takes a keen interest in its surroundings and loves investigating cabinets, cupboards, and suitcases.

Featured Breed | The LaPerm

The LaPerm can sport anything from a wavy coat to ringlet-type curls that range from tight ringlets to long corkscrew curls. The tightest curls occur on the underside of the cat, on the throat area, and at the base of the ears.

LaPerms are gentle and affectionate but also very active. Unlike many active breeds, the LaPerm is also quite content to be a lap cat. The LaPerm will often follow your lead; that is, if they are busy playing and you decide to sit and relax, simply pick up your LaPerm and sit down with it, and it will stay in your lap, devouring the attention you give it.

Featured Breed | The Birman

Have you heard the legend of how the Birman came to be? While it may not be true, it's certainly interesting to think about!

The Birman cat is believed to have originated in Burma, where it was considered sacred, the companion cat of the Kittah priests. There is a legend as to how the Birmans developed the colors they are today: “Originally, the guardians of the Temple of LaoTsun were yellow-eyed white cats with long hair. The golden goddess of the temple, Tsun-Kyan-Kse, had deep blue eyes. The head priest, Mun-Ha, had as his companion a beautiful cat named Sinh. One day the temple was attacked and Mun-Ha was killed. At the moment of his death, Sinh placed his feet on his master and faced the goddess. The cat’s white fur took on a golden cast, his eyes turned as blue as the eyes of the goddess, and his face, legs and tail became the color of earth. However, his paws, where they touched the priest, remained white as a symbol of purity. All the other temple cats became similarly colored. Seven days later, Sinh died, taking the soul of Mun-Ha to paradise.”

Featured Breed | The Oriental

From the tip of its nose to the end of its long, whippy tail, the Oriental is a study in sleek design. This elegant cat gracefully glides across the room on its tall, slender legs. The lines of its angular head flow into its large flaring ears and are complimented by its almond-shaped eyes. Don’t be fooled by the svelte, tubular body; these cats have surprising weight and muscle tone and are neither frail nor fragile.

The Oriental has an equally colorful personality. They are closely linked to the people they claim as their own and desperately want to share their lives with you. In the busiest moments, your Oriental will find a way to interrupt your activities – a little nudge while you eat, a close examination of your tooth brush prior to use, or some help tying your shoes before you leave in the morning.
