Chicken Creek Customs
Welcome to Chicken Creek Customs. We build what we like. And sometimes that build is something you like, too. WHY DOES IT COST SO MUCH? And thats just a sample.
Reach out if you want to buy a bike, or need a custom International built for you. It often comes up that building a Gentleman's or Gentlewoman's transport can be quite expensive, and you're right. But if you want to build something old that lasts as long as something new, here's an example of the work that goes into a modern classic:
-Full disassembly for blasting/cleaning
-Full engine service
SOLD: The 1984 Jeep CJ7—affectionately known as Black Mamba. This is a really unique restomod in that its done with an all AMC drive line. It starts with a built AMC 401 using a COMP Cam Magnum hydraulic cam and flat tappet lifters, mated to the four-speed T-177 transmission, tied to the Dana 300 transfer case, driving to the one-year-only, solid axle Dana 44 wide-track rear end. This was a fun build and you can see more on the website. Just go to https://chickencreekcustoms.com/home-2/builds/black-mamba-the-1984-jeep-cj7/
The BMW K75 has its frame back, swapped front end for a set from a Suzuki GSX and its all coming together! Stay tuned for more...
Progress report: The BMW K75
Engine is painted and assembled while the seat design begins taking shape. Stay tuned as we complete the frame work and it starts to look like a bike again!
Progress report: BMW K75
Parts replaced, leak tested, reassembling, and frame modifications complete. Follow us to get next weeks update as we begin paint and assembly!
Big news! has contracted Chicken Creek Customs to build them a motorcycle as unique as their lines of shoes! And we're jacked because the platform is an old school BMW K75. Yeah, its a little crusty and cylinder three doesn't want to play, but that's all about to change. Stay tuned and follow us to see the build come together over the next six weeks!
This 86 CJ has been a hoot to work on. Paint is now cut and polished, sound deadener and new carpet added, as well as a new five-speaker stereo. We'll keep ya posted as we continue the assembly process and end with a killer Jeep!

SOLD: This 01 Honda VT750 came in as a trade component and rather than cut it up and turn it into a custom, we're opting to let it go. Less than 20K miles, new intake and carb rebuild/rejet and it pulls! It was fun to make a couple adjustments, but we need it out of the way for the other custom builds we've got going on. If you know anyone looking for a clean titled, well running 750, we're asking $3100 so ask 'em to reach out!
Bullitt Boy, the 1982 CM450 custom build is almost ready. She'll be going to auction in the next month, in case you're looking for a great little cafe racer that's a ball to drive. All electronics are replaced with a solid state computer that lets you run settings and maintenance from your phone! Its a two speed clutchless making it perfect for around town driving.
UPDATE: Bullitt Boy, the '82 Honda CM450A, has been torn back down after 1000 miles to see how the engine rebuild held up. All was awesome, except an aftermarket head gasket. The gasket started deteriorating and dropping debris into the engine (nothing major) so we cleaned it all out, installed a new OEM Honda head gasket and she's back together. Once assembled, its going up for sale!
UPDATE: '54 International R110 Pickup
We're going to violate the rules of restoration by stuffing a stroked 383 into this thing! "Stroke me, stroke me. Could be a winner but man its such a sinner now!"
SOLD! If anyone is looking, Copperhead, the 1970 Military-issued International Scout 800A is up for auction this week. I hate to see her go, but it's time.

1970 International Harvester Scout 800A Bid for the chance to own a 1970 International Harvester Scout 800A at auction with Bring a Trailer, the home of the best vintage and classic cars online. Lot #99,283.
After a month of sanding, three coats of satin clear, and a whole lotta love, LockJaw—the 1954 R110 pickup—has all the body parts back on! Its officially rolling, and next up is the interior and wiring work.
Just a quick update on the 54 International R110, affectionately known as Lockjaw, cab, fenders and bed are back on. Each received five separate sandings to remove the old hand-painted coating that was all over it. As a result, we were able to salvage an enormous amount of original paint! Three to four coats of satin clear were added for protection.
1954 International R110 UPDATE
The doors are hung, the match-painted bench seat now slides forward and back with its new hardware, dash and eBrake fit up are complete, and we're diggin' the complimentary "Clotted Cream White" with the Sage Metallic Green. On to sound deadening, all new rubber for doors and cowl, and the new wiring harness fit up.
The Lockjaw got her first interior coat and can’t say I don’t love it. Sage Green Metallic goes perfectly with the exterior’s black patina. On to wet sand and final base coat!
UPDATE: The 1954 International R110 is moving along. Bearings packed—disc brake conversion complete! The LockJaw is moving along nicely. Time to attack the cab!
Before kicking it on the LockJaw—the 54 International Truck, we did make a little more progress on the Track Starr. Front plate designed and fitted, three-way light fitted to the rear cowl, and initial pass of paint(s) applied! Of course, now it sits awaiting spring to be completed.
The Black Bomber is coming along nicely! Baby got new shoes, new leafs, and brake lines are about done. On to the front end.
The 54 International gets a blast while Track Starr moves along.
It's tough to have so many projects running at once. But these two are such fun builds I think I may end up doing this more often. Had the mobile dustless blaster come by and take it down to metal to see what we had. Surprisingly, this frame is in amazing shape! Drop some epoxy primer on it and we're ready to roll it into the garage and begin putting in all new lines. In the meantime, Atlanta Speed Shop it going to do a full rebuild on the Silver Diamond 6 engine while I rebuild the transmission.
The Track Starr build is getting wired this week. Frankly, I enjoy this part of a build. This particular bike gets an m.Unit Blue that will eliminate flashers and fuses, plus allow you to configure lights, security, and start up from your cell phone. All stored neatly in the trunk!
Got to try out my new Riddick Cafe Racer limited edition shoes today (https://www.aliveshoes.com/brand/riddick?fbclid=IwAR201rdU3lwe_riJJrUcUttume0jC3oZZCCsK_8xSvtKDfxfTjbBPTysgcM). I'll tell you what, Italians know how to make a shoe! Not sponsored, just love 'em. Super smooth on the pegs, added leather for shifting, and velcro closure to ensure I don't loose a foot in the chain! Two middle fingers up from me. These things rock.
Fit up on the new Track Starr is coming together. Won't be long now!
Had a great time at the J&P Cycles Custom Ultimate Builders Show this weekend. Bullitt Boy didn't win, but there were a lot of great custom builds on show!
While the '54 International begins break down, the '83 Honda CM450 known as Track Starr begins its assembly. Engine rebuilt, frame back from paint, and fell back on my 80's sun-gold rim vibe!
Our next build begins: The 1954 International R110 Pickup! We're really excited about this frame off resto. We'll be keeping the patina, but everything else gets a facelift.
From boxes of parts and almost a year of work, the '82 Honda CM450 has been rebuilt from the ground up and its on the road. Here are a couple highlight shots my son and I put together.
