None of us asked to be here. I can’t help that I’m of African, Native American, and Scottish Descent. I didn’t choose to be black, American, my genetic makeup, my original social status, etc.

Again none of us chose to be here, but we are responsible for what we do with our circumstances. We can choose to build upon the foundation given to us by God (or what ever higher power you believe in). We can choose to make better life choices. We can choose our friends. We can choose our sleeping, eating, and fitness habits. We can choose what we consume spiritually, mentally, and emotionally on a daily basis. Most of all we can choose how we view ourselves and treat others.

I love you all. Keep living phenomenally.

Self-Acceptance is key 🔑. Self-acceptance is defined as “an individual's acceptance of all of their attributes, positive or negative.” When we accept ourselves, we embrace every part of ourselves, not just the “positive” things!
