A Halloween Makeover; everyone loves hearing music in a minor key… so my student took her major key song, and halfway through, she changed it to minor and went up one octave- perfect for Halloween!

Our students are loving this music because it fires our imaginations and takes pianists on intrepid musical journeys. Bravo to my bold pianist!

First Christmas for my little student as she plays her 1st Carol. Way to go!

Livin’ The Dream: This mom is returning to piano after her lessons stopped long ago. This time, her daughter is beginning piano too! So here they are, improvising together. This session took place about 2 weeks after they began lessons. Beautiful!

Music and middle schoolers-love to see their feelings of pride when my kiddos can play satisfying music and experience success. Makes my day!

My beginner student’s eyes widened with excitement when she saw this keyboard- she tried with her feet but intuitively got on all fours for this awesome performance! Enjoy!

Playing by ear takes a bit of inquisitiveness and tinkering, but really helps a pianist’s skills… and playing on Boomwhackers with your friends is just plain fun!
