Friends of the Alpharetta Library

It’s a beautiful day to stop in our bookstore. We have lots of great paperbacks on our spinning rack for just 50 cents each!

It’s that time of year again! Our Book Tree and Fireplace are up in the atrium of the library. Guess how many books are in the tree to win a prize. We also have carts of books with holiday sale pricing. Bring them into the bookstore to purchase. Thank you to our teen volunteers Jay Hackett, Oliver Peters, Zaha Qureshi, and Zaira Qureshi for putting our awesome tree together.

A reminder that there is no monthly book sale tomorrow. But we will have lots of sales and special inventory in our bookstore throughout the month. Stop by tomorrow and every day the library is open!

Instead of a monthly book sale in December, we will be having specials in our bookstore throughout the month. Thank you for a great year of donations and sales. We can’t provide free programs at the library without your support! Join us in January for a blowout Saturday sale.

Today is Small Business Saturday. If you’re shopping local in City Center stop by the Alpharetta Library and shop in our Friends of the Library Bookstore. All proceeds pay for programs at the library so they are free for all patrons. Books range from 10 cents to just a few dollars. We accept cash, check, and Venmo (for purchases over $3).
