Everyone laughed at me for painting rocks to look like strawberies,.but found out that if you put them around your berry plants and bushes before the fruits appear, the birds will peck the red rocks. They hate pecking super hard things so they will leave the fruit when it appears. No crows. 🍓🍓🍓

Why Is Glyphosate Sprayed on Crops Right Before Harvest?
ecowatch.com Glyphosate, the main ingredient in Monsanto's Roundup herbicide, is recognized as the world's most widely used w**d killer. What is not so well known is that farmers also use glyphosate on crops such as wheat, oats, edible beans and other crops right before harvest, raising concerns that the herbici...

Sugru
We're about to hit a huge milestone – 10 million single packs of Sugru have been used by you, our global community!
That's 10 million things that didn't go to landfill, 10 million things that were lovingly saved, resurrected, revived, re-invented and made to work better and last longer. Wow. It's a real movement of everyday creativity, and it's reaching a scale that deserves some extra celebration.
So along with our brand new website, we've made a new video to tell the story of Sugru. It's not just Jane's story – it's your story, it's our story. We really love it, and we hope you do too! Please share and spread the word! http://bit.ly/2cGuyDI

The Truth About Monsanto You Need to Know
GE Crops significantly increase the use of toxic herbicides while not increasing yield. The word is finally getting out!
foodrevolution.org By Andrew Kimbrell, Center for Food Safety Most of us have told a lie a time or two and probably a variety of them. For example, there is the excuse lie as in the timeless “my dog at my homework,” and the proverbial “white lie” as in “No you really do look great in those jeans.” But the …

Glyphosate Sprayed on GMO Crops Linked to Lake Erie’s Toxic Algae Bloom
So maybe everyone that lives around the shores of Lake Erie should do a class action suit against Monsanto.

GMO Free USA
BREAKING: Last night, under the cover of darkness, 63 U.S. senators voted in favor of S.764, AKA The DARK Act, and the bill passed. We just became the first country in the world to unlabel GMOs. While we are outraged, we are not the least bit surprised considering that the co-authors of this terrible bill, Senators Roberts and Stabenow, have taken over $4.3 million dollars in campaign contributions from Agribusiness.
We are now just a few steps away from being the only country that forces its consumers to call an 800 # or scan a QR code just to find out what's in our food. And make no mistake, this bill serves one purpose, and one purpose only: to protect the profits of the $150 billion dollar a year biotech industry that chooses to hide GMOs in the U.S. food supply and hopes that no one notices.
This bill is not a mandatory national GMO labeling law, it is a non-mandatory national GMO UNlabeling law.
While the Biotech Bullies are no doubt celebrating the victory that their hundreds of millions of dollars in lobbying and campaign contributions bought, they would be sadly mistaken if they thought for a second that the US GMO labeling fight is now over. It is not. Our movement will NEVER give in to corporate bullies who need to take away people's rights just to sell their unwanted products. We WILL continue our efforts until every food product sold in grocery stores across the U.S. is clearly labeled on the package if it contains GMO ingredients--just like 4.6 billion people in 64 countries around the world already have. In light of the FDA's failure to regulate this technology using independent science, labeling is the the only tool available for broadly tracking the health harms associated with GMO consumption.
As a movement, we will regroup from this loss and we will press on. This issue is just too important for us and our families to give up now. Our all volunteer staff works really hard to keep you up to date on all that is happening to our food system. If you can help with a donation--large or small--we would be very grateful!
Our best hope of stopping the DARK Act at this point is on President Obama's desk. Sign the petition: https://wh.gov/iFYPQ This petition must reach 100,000 signatures in order for the White House to respond. President Obama: VETO the discriminatory GMO unlabeling law! Please get your family, friends and everyone you know to sign it: https://wh.gov/iFYPQ

Autism: Maybe It's Not What We've Been Told
In an indirect way, this may be very related to food, and if not, so very interesting, I thought it worth posting on RIPE!
