Dr. Etemadnia finished his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto with an Honors Bachelor of Science “with Distinction” Specializing in Cell & Molecular Biology and a 2nd degree in Biochemistry. During that time Dr. Etemadnia achieved the Golden Key Association Award, and the Ontario Scholar Award, and was published on the cover of the University of Toronto’s “Great Minds for Great Future” publication.

Dr. Etemadnia went on to do a full year of research with a publication in Molecular Cloning under the supervision of Dr. Julie C. Silver MD. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine Degree by the age of 24 and went on to finish his Medical Training in New York City at the Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center.

Dr. Etemadnia is currently a Board Certified Physician in Internal Medicine with Aesthetics Certification in Advanced Dermal Filler and Botox Injections. He has been practicing Medicine in Central Florida for over a decade and since then he has achieved outstanding directorships as the Quality Assurance Medical Director and the Director of Education at one of the fastest growing multi-specialty Corporations here in Central Florida.

Dr. Etemadnia is the Author of the literary manual “How to Practice Quality Risk Medicine” which is a comprehensive review of Medicine with guidelines and policies set in place in order to provide Optimal Care to our Clients and is currently being used as the Physician’s Manual to train and teach new physicians.

During his decade long Medical Career Dr Etemadnia has been recognized for his dedication to Healthcare and has been awarded on several occasions, including the “Certificate of Recognition for excellent Patient Care” in 2013 and the “Exceptional Patient Care Award” in 2017 from the WellMed Network of Florida Inc

Tayanna Lawlor, MSN, RN, FNP-BC, CNOR, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Prior to joining Kanan Medical in Central Florida, she acquired 15 years of experience in hospital and private practice settings in Newton, NJ and more recently has worked with Advent Health Daytona. Today, Tayanna joins Kanan Medical's New Smyrna Beach clinic in providing family medicine services to residents of New Smyrna and surrounding neighborhoods in Volusia County. She sees patients two years of age and older and is fluent in English and Spanish. She is now welcoming same-day appointments, new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
