Located less than fifty yards from the Lower Fly Stretch of the iconic Salmon River (Altmar, NY), Salmon River Outfitters is the best lodging option for either the serious or casual angler. The main lodge includes a full tackle shop (both fly and spinning gear), a bar and grill restaurant, as well as a fish cleaning station and smoker on premises. Each room includes its own bathroom, TV, microwave
We are open year round! Start by getting a room reserved for Salmon Season. We have some new ideas coming soon. We still have availability for rooms for steelhead drop backs! If you’re interested please reach out via text/call to Christine the reservation lady/housekeeper at 201-466-7433. I have been cleaning the rooms since last salmon season and I am expanding my role at SRO with booking rooms and answering any questions you may have.
