HOPE Drop-In Center
We are a place that serves the community as a refuge without stigma, where you come to relax and grow in your mental health recovery.
The H.O.P.E Drop-In Center supports people with mental health problems, substance abuse issues, and homelessness. We welcome those who struggle with mental health to come talk to people here. We will help connect people abusing drugs and alcohol with the help they need, and homeless people can come in to get out of the cold or eat. The center has games, an arts and crafts room, a laundry station, and clothes. Come stop by and say hi to Pam.
We would like to give a big shout out to all of the peer volunteers that helped plant and mulch to spruce up our flower beds. Also , thank you to Marianne Sinisi for graciously donating perennials from her beds and Mary for donating flowers and mulch. Thank you for your hard work and dedication!
We want to thank Margaret Thatcher for donating the new HOPE Drop-In Center sign. The sign is beautiful and so appreciated!
Thank you to the Altoona Mirror for their front page article on our first Health and Safety Fair. It was a great success thanks to all the agencies that participated, our Altoona firefighters, and everyone that showed up for the event! We will see you at the next one in the fall!
