From Aubrey:
“Hi! I'm Aubrey! I've been with BMC for 3years!! The studio has become my second home. Pole is challenging and rewarding! My absolute favorite part of pole is the showcase! Showing off for all of our loved ones and bringing the BMC family together to celebrate ❤️”
Everyone PLEASE show Aubrey some love! She absolutely deserves it!
Wishing good luck and good grip to ALL of the competitors at PSO Atlantic this weekend, and especially to the competing members of the BMC squad who we have introduced you to over the last couple of weeks!
Lets GO!❤️
We are so excited to have quite a few students competing at PSO Atlantic in Washington on May 18 and 19. We asked them all to tell us a little bit about themselves and their journey to PSO. Today, we introduce you to Pam who will be competing in the Heels Level 2 category Please join us in wishing her good luck and good grip!
From Pam:
“Party Pam to the floor, I’ve been poling roughly about 5 years and this is my second competition. I’m returning to the Senior Level 2 Heels category this year. I love the process of competing and building from a simple feeling of a song. I love being at the studio and seeing my progress of strength in myself and hanging out with my pole family. The best part of this sport is how supportive everyone is for one another. ❤️”
We are so excited to have quite a few students competing at PSO Atlantic in Washington on May 18 and 19. We asked them all to tell us a little bit about themselves and their journey to PSO. Today, we introduce you to Andrea who will be competing in the Championship Level 3 category Please join us in wishing her good luck and good grip!
From Andrea:
“Hello, my name is Andrea and this will be my 5th time competing and 3rd year at PSO Atlantic. I will be competing in Level 3 Championship Grand Master. I started competing as a way to expand my comfort zone, but fell in love with the process. Competing pushes me to create combinations that challenge me while also being attainable in the time I have to prep. It also increases my strength and stamina much more than learning single tricks or short combinations since routines in my level are 3+ minutes! And the community is just plain amazing. Hearing the audience hoot, holler, and generally go crazy when you hit a move is exhilarating! To anyone who is thinking " I'm too (old, fat, out of shape, etc) to try pole," this is your sign that you are NOT. I'm 50 with no dance or fitness background.”

From Dakota:
“Dakota here, how could you forget?😂 I’ve been poling for 2 years now. Im competing in Jr Level 4 Entertainment. This is my second time competing. I’m most excited to go through this experience and be able to watch and support all the creative minds and artistic abilities within our unique sport. While spending time with my BMC Squad!!! LET’S GO!!!!! 💪🏼😘”

This month Cheyenne was chosen and we are so proud of her! We asked Cheyenne to tell us a little bit about her journey at BMC!

“I’ve been a part of BMC for over three years and pole has positively impacted me in ways I never expected! Pole is physically challenging but has shown me how strong I am and that I am capable. It’s mentally challenging at times but has taught me patience and to get up, come back and try again. It has given me a unique appreciation for my body and mind! The atmosphere at BMC is so uplifting and fun and I always look forward to the next time I’ll be poling!!”
Everyone PLEASE show Cheyenne some love! She absolutely deserves it!
The BMC crew made a new best friend in Loco, but our GOLD STARS go to every woman we met who lit up while talking to us about trying pole fitness. ⭐️We don’t just believe in our mission statement, we live by it. So when we meet women who are willing to put everything society has told them about themselves to the side, when they listen to the voices within themselves to try something new, our hearts soar. This is the reason our studio exists, so thank you for feeding our souls yesterday we can’t wait to see you all soon. Thanks to our buddy Loco for showing that pole really is for every body, even fur covered mascot bodies❤️

First off, totally honored to be Student of the Month. Prior to joining BMC in early 2023, I had never even attempted something resembling pole fitness. A year later, I am unabashedly obsessed with all things pole-and-aerial related, and with the amazing community at this studio. I know that I have found the sport of a lifetime, and I can’t wait to keep growing with and learning from the wonderful folks at BMC. Thank you to my fellow students and to the instructors/owners who have helped me get to where I am today! 💕
