This is a secret other trainers don’t want you to know…

YOU CAN’T MESS UP YOUR PROGRESS IN ONE DAY!

With the holidays coming up I just wanted to remind you all of something….

If you are worried about sticking to your plan, or fking up your progress….

I want you to remember that good physiques are not built in a day, nor can they be destroyed in one day.

So eat those cookies.

Eat Great grandmas famous pie (it makes her happy to see you enjoy it and smile after eating it)

Don’t limit yourself just because sOcIEtY🥴 and weight watchers tells you that you don’t have enough calories left or points left to enjoy yourself.

You are doing more mental harm by not enjoying yourself than you are doing good for your body.

Enjoy yourself this Holliday season and I mean this next part VERY disrespectfully…

F*ck anyone who makes you feel like crap for enjoying yourself during the holiday festivities.

You can tell them I said that.

If you are a woman and you want to start working out but you are scared you will look “bulky” or “like a man” this post is for you. Ladies you do not have enough testosterone in your body to build muscle the way a man does. On average women have about 15-20% less testosterone than men do. ”But but but google says if I lift heavy my test levels will increase”. Maybe but not by much and certainly not enough to build muscle like a guy. The bottom line is this, biologically women do not have a high enough level of testosterone to get bulky, unless you are injecting it. So ladies don’t be afraid to lift heavy. I’ve seen multiple women with great physiques lift more than men at times and these women don’t look big and bulky. With that being said women next time you go in the gym lift that heavy ass weight and build the physique you want! And if you are a woman and want to get started but don’t know where to begin/what to do shoot me a message and let’s talk!
I Hope this was helpful to someone and hopefully takes away any doubts or worries you may have had.

For those of us that workout it’s not for self centered or vain reasons. For some of us it’s our escape from reality, our sanctuary. It’s a way to turn all the negative bullsh*t in our lives into something positive. It is the one place we can go to better ourselves physically AND mentally. If you have a lot of sh*t going on in your life that you feel you can’t escape, give the gym a shot. Go for 8 weeks and really focus on improving and see how much your life changes because of it.

If you don’t look like at the end of your top hack squat set…. Did you really hack squat?

Fr tho learn to fall in love with the pain. Use it as a learning experience. When you are doing something that’s intense (like the hack squat) use it as an opportunity to dissect and harden your mind. That’s how you get better day by day.

My 2018-2019 transformation

On the left I was around 145lbs and on the right I was at 170. I remember taking that picture because at that point that was the heaviest I ever weighed.

During that first year I did EVERYTHING wrong. I tried everything I saw on the internet and everything that my friends said worked for them.

Here’s the reality, you can’t cheat the process, you gotta suck it up and do the work. It doesn’t have to be all a chore you just have to find a way to make it fit your life and make it enjoyable.

Biggest lesson I learned that year….F**K WHAT EVERYONE ELSE THINKS.

It’s not about moving weight from A to Z it’s about HOW you move weight from A to Z. Most people can come in and move the stack on a machine incorrectly, but that’s not going to build muscle.

Sam has lost INCHES off of her waist, arms, and legs. She shows up everyday at 5am works her ass off. Tired, sick, unmotivated, or in a funk she puts in the work.

Sam has 3 jobs, what we can take from this is you have time to make excuses or suck it up and make progress, you can’t do both.

You can ask Sam yourself, once you see results putting in the work is easy.

Something I think we can all learn from him… if you have a goal and want to achieve it you won’t make excuses, you’ll just do it.

Just always remember, you are capable of more than you think. Your mind will try to trick you into thinking you aren’t good enough or that you can’t do something sometimes. If something is difficult for you…. Good…..keep doing it and eventually you will get better. And before you know it that thing that was super hard, you will look at like a cake walk🍰

Making changes to the body takes time. Anyone that says “oh you do this for a few weeks and you’ll be COMPLETELY TRANSFORMED into your dream body”….is a liar and should be set on fire in a dumpster somewhere. Stay consistent, workout and eat for your goals, go to the gym, and you’ll get there.

1. Not getting enough protein. Protein is what replenishes and repairs your muscles. When you workout you are breaking down muscles cells. Protein is what helps them to come back bigger and stronger

2. Not training with enough intensity. Your muscles will eventually get used to a level of intensity to where it will no longer work. This is why it is important to track workouts and make sure you are either lifting a little heavier or doing more reps each week in the gym.

3. Not eating enough carbs. Your body needs glycogen to keep it going. And if you aren’t eating enough carbs your body will tap into the storage in the muscle and you will lose muscle mass over a period of time.

4. Not eating enough calories. Calories are the building blocks of changing the body. Diet is 80 percent of any transformation. You need to eat the correct amount of calories for your goal and for your body to continually make progress in the gym.

5. Not consistently hitting the gym. Let’s say you got your diet on track but don’t workout. If you are looking to gain muscle and are not doing some sort of resistance training (lifting weights) your muscle cells will never be broken down which in turn means they can’t grow.

6. Not getting enough sleep. Your muscles also need proper rest to allow everything we just talked about to take place. And sleep is the best form of rest the body can get.
