The Central PA Humane Society recently posted that they are in great need of towels, blankets, and sheets! This is an easy way to get 🌟M.A.D.🌟 (Make A Difference) in the lives of our furry friends! Kinsley was able to get quite a collection just by asking family and friends if they had any of these items that they weren’t using and would be willing to donate. The Humane Society was so grateful when we stopped by today! Thanks to those who provide love and care for our animal community! 🐱🐶🐰

“Kids for Community” is excited to announce our first summer project!! ☀️☀️☀️We are going to be creating “Busy Bags for Seniors” to be distributed to dementia units in local nursing facilities. The bags will contain a variety of independent activities meant to help reduce boredom and help manage agitation, challenging behaviors, and depression. K4C kids will be assembling/creating the bags throughout the next month!

We have most of the materials on hand at this point, but we are looking for donations of “CrAzY Straws” in this specific design ➡️ (https://a.co/d/aowtVlR) to complete our needs list. If you are able and would like to help sponsor this need, please just reach out!❤️

Our goal is to create 50 ‘Busy Bags’ by the end of July. 😀 Thank you in advance for your support of this awesome initiative….Our seniors are very special citizens and we want to make sure to show our love in any way we can! Thank you!! ❤️

Thank you to all of our K4C friends & families for helping us with our 5th Annual Wish List Drive for the Central PA Humane Society! Today we were able to drop off 216 rolls of paper towels to help fulfill a need there. We truly appreciate everyone who contributed to our efforts!! 🐶🐱❤️ Stay tuned for our next project!!

Calling all K4C Friends & Families…We are back with our annual Wish List Drive benefitting the Central PA Humane Society…🐶🐱 (SERVICE HOURS GIVEN!!)

Every year since 2017 we have hosted an annual project supporting the Central PA Humane Society with the goal being to help out with their ongoing Wish List. This year we have decided to again do a PAPER TOWEL DRIVE!!

Local friends...the next time you are at the grocery store, please consider grabbing an extra roll (or two!) to contribute to our drive. We will gladly stop by and pick up your contribution! Or if you would rather donate $ (via PayPal / Venmo), we will shop on your behalf and send you the receipt!

The drive will take place now through April 15th…Last year we collected over 150 rolls!!! 😃 Help us break that total and get the Humane Society rolling into the summer months all stocked up!! 🙌🏻❤️

Once again the students of AAJHS joined with K4C members to create Valentines for Veterans this year! Over 500+ combined valentines were delivered to local veterans’ facilities for distribution to our nation’s heroes with the goal of showing them the love and appreciation they deserve for their service. We hope they brought a smile to many faces! ❤️🇺🇸🤍🇺🇸💙

These two were busy putting together some special winter treats this evening! 150+ packets of “Snowman Soup”assembled and ready to be delivered to the local food bank and other service based agencies in the area. Just in time to help ward off that winter chill that’s creeping in…🥶🎅🏻🎄
