LaRocco Counseling is hiring a mental health/drug and alcohol Counselor. Counselor must have a minimum of a 4-year bachelor’s degree in the Human Service field combined with a minimum of 2 years of experience working directly with clients.

In addition, the candidate must be able to obtain both child-line clearance and criminal background clearance to work in the human field.

LaRocco Counseling only considers candidates of high moral character and people who live clean and sober lifestyles that are dedicated to individuals that are suffering from mental health and addiction. Please do not apply if you use ma*****na in any way.

We are hiring for a Part-Time/Full-Time position that must be available to work Monday through Friday including evening hours. Scheduling is flexible depending on a candidate's restrictions and the company's needs.

LaRocco Counseling Inc is an outpatient facility located in Blair County with certified gambling therapists who can help directly or find resources for you if you are struggling. No one with a gambling problem will be turned away based on insurance or lack of. You can reach us directly at 814-946-5179 during business hours. If you need immediate assistance and we are not available, you can also contact 1800GAMBLER 24 hours a day.

The candidate must be able to obtain both child-line clearance and criminal background clearance to work in the mental field. In addition, the individual must be clean from all drugs, including ma*****na. LaRocco Counseling only considers candidates of high moral character that are dedicated to individuals that are experiencing addiction and mental health symptoms .
This position is part time. Interested candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule (some evening hours are a must). Building hours are 9am-8pm Monday through Thursday and NO Friday, weekend or holiday work.
The position of an Administrative Assistant entails a variety of administrative and clerical tasks by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities:
Answer and directing phone calls and/or taking messages
Excellent understanding of HIPPA/Confidentiality
Develop and maintain a filing system
Determine funding source for a client
Check inventory for office supplies, UDS, gloves, etc.
Maintain contact lists (Phone list)
Ensuring an accurate file maintenance
Organize and schedule appointments
Responsible for updated and maintaining intake and discharge charts
Greeting clients
Complete annual training requirements as outlined in the individualized training and performance plan
Follow all policy and procedure
Responsible for the appearance, cleanliness, and organization of the office
Treat all clients and co-workers with dignity and respect
Ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office
Requirements:
Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Ability to meet deadlines
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
High School degree: additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary will be a plus
