1-original colour on 04 May Pulp Riot Darkwater

2-colour fade out as of 31 May.

3-coloured lifted using a fashion colour remover “blank canvas” from Pulp Riot with 20v for 30-40 minutes with no heat

4-toned with Redken 9VG iridescence +
9V platinum ice with gloss to gel

The niece let me do what I wanted. She came in with raw lifted hair and no layers. I decided to tone and cut!! Yay!!

We have done sooo much in our relationship as friends and stylist/clients. She’s had Easter egg pastel. Vibrant blues. Blonde on blonde. Pixie. Shaved. IT ALL!!

This was a fun and fiery addition to our collection. She wanted an easy grow out. Off the root balayage red colour.

My job is not to judge someone else’s work or be mad that my client went somewhere else. My job is to listen, correct the errors, and create a masterpiece.

I might not have achieved the exact look.
But I loved the final outcome.

Sometimes just blending color is the best way to go. She has a split level color before. And wanted to blend what she had to make it less noticeable. However, she might change her mind in the future and want to do vivid colors. Education taught me to use a demi-permanent color…

After 8 years, we’ve done so much.

Remove as much if the old color with a cut.
The cut needs to be fun.

I had just learned a new technique for creating layers. I wanted to try it. I think I achieved my goal.
