Our customer service team has been busy this month! We’re happy to welcome another new team member, Randa Osborn. When Randa is not at work you can find her participating in team roping events, enjoying the mountains, fishing and relaxing outdoors.

Our Turnkey customer service group has recently welcomed Affton Schlochtermeier to the team! Affton is from Kansas and has been involved with agriculture throughout her life so her ag degree from OPSU is a great fit. In her free time, you can find her with family, traveling or going to concerts. Welcome Affton!

Our Turnkey customer service team was together last week at our Amarillo, TX office for training and team building. We appreciate the work that this group does and the help they provide our customers!

We are delighted to announce that Nikki Ludwig has joined the Turnkey team! Nikki is no stranger to the agricultural sector, having been raised on a farm. She now runs a small operation with her husband Garret and their three (soon to be four) little ones, Sutton, Linley, and Truman. Nikki enjoys riding horses and attending her kids activities in her free time. Help us give her a warm welcome!

Please help us welcome Catie McCharen to the Turnkey team! Catie is a recent graduate of West Texas A&M University, where she received her master’s in animal sciences with a minor in accounting. When she is not on the clock, you can find her working in her barn, taking her horse to horse shows, traveling, or hiking in Palo Duro Canyon with her husband and their blue heeler.

Members of the Turnkey team (and their family) spent the end of 2023 by volunteering their time at Snack Pak 4 Kids. This organization works directly with local schools to ensure that children have access to meals over the weekend. Together with other volunteers, we were able to pack 4,500 bags for local kids!

Congrats to David Blackburn, who surpassed his 30th year with Turnkey this December! David started in 1993 as a programmer but his history with Turnkey starts well before then. Prior to officially starting with the company, he was a software developer alongside Keith Black (one of the originators of Turnkey Feedyard Accounting Software)! Now David is the Manager of New Software Development and leads a team of eight developers.

Members of the Turnkey team participated in the fifth annual Beef 4 Kids Golf Tournament on Monday, an event that raised $100,500 for the Snack Pak 4 Kids of Texas organization this year alone. SP4K is a program designed to provide high-quality snacks (including beef) to local students in the area who may experience limited access to meals over the weekends. A special thank you to the Texas Cattle Feeders Association for helping put this event together. We're happy to help support our local community!
