Tonight doesn’t seem real but I wanted to thank everyone that came out to support us for the last week. We sold out of everything lol . Everyone that came in has been so kind and generous as well. My server, Devon was definitely shocked and very appreciative by everyone generosity . It was great to see some familiar faces and catching up one last time . I appreciate all the kind words and wishes and it makes me sad to not be able to interact with my guests again but from the bottom of my heart thank you all ! ❤️

Today I have a bittersweet announcement to make . Mokja will have it’s final service Thursday March 3rd. I know this is a bit of short notice but due to making the sale finalized with the new owner I did not want to make the announcement prematurely . We will be open Monday -Thursday for lunch and dinner 11:30-3//5-8:30 . We will be running a special all week as an appreciation for all of our customers who have supported us since we have opened .
I want to thank ambler as a community for welcoming me as a new restaurant owner . I write this with a heavy heart as I reflect on all the wonderful experiences I have had meeting many guests who have walked into these doors. I am lucky enough to have made friendships with some of my regulars who were like family to me . It’s been a crazy 2 years that I will never forget and I have learned so much and gained invaluable experiences. Thank you all for supporting me through the good and bad. I will always be grateful to those who have constantly wished us well and I do not regret a thing . I hope to one day come back bigger and better but for now I think it’s time to move on for a bit and focus on my family and future .
Have you tried our ramen ? Rich broth with sun noodle company ramen noodles. Definitely comforting !

Power is back on, we will open today from 4-7pm. We apologize for those that couldn’t come in last night .
Unfortunately we will not be able to stay open due to a power outage . Hopefully it will get resolved soon, we will update as soon as that happens .

Ok so i am posting this as a sign up for the chefs tasting. Tentatively dates for thursday 11/18, Friday 11/19, sat 11/20 .
More information on other slides. I will need atleast 15 ppl per time slot to do this. No regular menu items will be served and restaurant will be only serving what’s offered on tasting menu . Email dates and time for those interested , once I get enough responses I will confirm no later than Tuesday 11/16. This is to ensure I order the amount of ingredients etc.
Just some ideas that I had if I do a chefs tasting table . 25-30 max per seating with 2 time slots. 5:00 and 7:30 . 1 week prepaid no walk ins. BYOB . Pricing would be 60-70pp. Special dietary restrictions maybe accommodated. The set up would be 2 communal tables along each side of the restaurant . I want this to be an intimate and fun experience for people to enjoy food and company. Thoughts??
We will be back on action tomorrow and i can’t wait to get back to seeing all my mokja friends and family again. I will be rolling out a new menu as well so stay tuned !

Galbi jjim , Korean braised short rib. Definitely a crowd pleaser. Tender, fall of the bone marinated short rib, braised for 3 hours to give you tender beef. Served with a bowl of rice to fill you up !
Back for a limited time is the mokja burger , 8oz bulgogi marinated angus beef, fried onions and cheese. Served with our crispy fries.
Make sure to order some take out to watch the awesome performances this weekend!
Ugly delicious . Curry with chunky vegetables and rice is comfort food. Perfect for the fall and rainy weather. Get some with chicken or keep it vegetarian . Heart and comforting !
Happy Chuseok 즐거운 추석 되세요. Chuseok is a major 3 day Korean holiday where families get together to share food and give thanks to their ancestors. Similar to American Thanksgiving. Come dine at Mokja tonight and celebrate with Chef An!
