Your lymphatic system is a fluid transportation system in your body that removes toxins and cellular waste and brings white blood cells to the tissues. It is a part of your immune system. Lymph, unlike blood, doesn’t have an organ pumping it through the body. Lymph movement relies on gravity and muscle contractions. If the lymph can’t properly drain, it becomes stagnant and can eventually solidify. Manual lymphatic drainage increases the rate of lymph movement through the body using a specific order of gentle skin stretching techniques. This is a very different technique than massage. Massage uses a vertical downward pressure to engage the muscle tissue. Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is engaging the lymph which is directly underneath the skin. It uses horizontal skin stretching techniques. If too much pressure is applied, the lymphatic vessels will be crushed and compressed, thereby hindering the flow of lymph rather than increasing the rate of movement. For general lymphatic health, 3-6 sessions close together every 3-4 months is recommended. Love your lymph!

"Fall rouses the spirit of change to color your soul brave again."
Angie Weiland-Crosby
Happy Autumn! I hope everyone is enjoying the transition to fall, a time to reflect on abundance and give thanks. I am always tremendously grateful for all of you, who enable me to live my dream of connecting, soothing energy, and holding sacred space as you take time to nourish and heal yourselves. Self-care is more important now than ever before, and when we set aside time for ourselves to just "be", our nervous system is comforted.
Moving forward, you will notice some changes. Beginning November 1, 2023, there will be a price increase, as I've not raised my prices in the past four years and due to inflation, the time has come to do so. Also, beginning January 1, 2024 I will no longer be offering memberships, but instead will offer several series options to save on frequent visits. I greatly value our time together, and want to continue to bring you the quality services you deserve. I hope to see you soon in the spa! Please email me with any questions- [email protected]. My best, Tina

Have you “earthed” today? 😉
Grounding is a energetic phenomena one experiences when their bare skin directly connects to Mother Earth. To be grounded is to be energetically centered, to give your energy a point of focus. Life is all about balance and as earthly beings we truly belong in close quarters to the most natural areas of this planet. We simply are not meant to be indoors and wearing rubber soles every time we leave the house. Modern living has definitely limited the raw contact our bodies have to the earth below our feet. Our bodies starve to be in contact with the earth's electricity on a daily basis. The same natural dirt that provides us with a surface to live on, and space to grow our food charges our bodies with much needed negative ions.
We all have energetic bodies and everything around us comes from pure energy. Today’s technology has a way of infecting us with “dirty energy” or energy that hurts us instead of helps us. Ironically it’s the positive ions that cause us the most harm. Exposing ourselves to more positive ions (electrical energy or dirty energy) then negative ions over a lifetime or less can destroy our health. The cure is the earth's natural healing powers. It’s free and easy to obtain. There’s no catch! Once our skin makes contact with the earth, those positive ions are neutralized and we are again in balance. Balance will support us in living well with good health and prosperity. Most importantly we will feel great!
Why should we ground? Why not?! We have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
