Hello friends! Hope this letter finds you well and that you are all staying healthy with the start of the fall season. It's our favorite time of year as it moves us to let go of what is no longer serving us and let things fall just like leaves on the trees. It also forces us to go inward, reflecting on the year past and what the next few months left in the year is going to look like for us and what goals we want to achieve. It's such a mystical time of year and full of abundance, so it's a great time figure out what we want out of life and use this energy to manifest great things.

Here are some affirmations we are loving right now to reflect, realign and release any negativity.

Hello Everyone! Hope your summer is off to a great start!

I wanted to let you all know that as of September 1st I will be limiting my books to new clients and focusing on established clients only. This has not been an easy decision but is becoming more apparent day by day. I now need more flexibility to service all of you that have been the heart and soul of my business so far. You have helped me grow into something I could never have imagined and I am beyond grateful to you!!

If you or anyone you know has been wanting to become a client and experience my services I am happy to take them as there are some openings available in my books for August so do not hesitate to share! Understand that this is a bit of a transition, so please make sure to schedule your future appointments. I will be starting a waitlist for prospective clients in the future when there is more availability.

Even though I am limiting my books and working with established clients at this time, I am more than happy to help with anything skin / product related. Thank you all for your understanding. Please note that my associates both Jodi and Tina are still taking new clients and available for booking! (their links on my site).

A Personal Note

The past few years have been difficult for so many of us. It seems especially lately that the extremity of the severe conditions of our world is at an all time high. So many tragic events have left us feeling unsafe, extremely emotional, helpless and heartbroken. I wanted to thank those of you that have opened up and trusted to share your stories with me and others. I want you to know that you are not alone. Sanara strives to live up to its name, it is and will always be a place of healing, a place of non-judgement and a place to surrender. I am here to support you and vow to continue to hold a safe space for you, anywhere you are on your journey.

We’re a couple of weeks into spring here in New England and we have said goodbye to winter (well almost!) and the pesky, dry, itchy skin that comes with it.

With the new season upon us our bodies and skin start to adapt. With the drastic weather and environmental changes, your skin changes too - and so should your routine.
Although we may be mentally ready to run into spring with warmer, sunnier days, the reality is, our skin needs more time to adjust.

Here are some 🔑 tips and adjustments for you to make to help support your skin 🤲🏻

𝑬𝒙𝒇𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒆

Gentle exfoliation is a great way brighten up a dull complexion. Enzymes are ideal for dissolving cellular build up gently but effectively. 1-2x’s a week to start.

Favorite : Honey Berry Enzyme 🍯

𝑳𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒆𝒏 𝒖𝒑

Now is a good time to use up or rid of any heavy creams and moisturizers that have occlusive barriers. Our skin produces more oil in the warmer months so swap out heavy products for light weight hydrosols, serums and moisturizers that are more breathable.

𝑨𝒅𝒅 𝑨𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒙𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒔

Antioxidants are good to use year round but especially beneficial for the spring and summer. When applied topically they help to neutralize free radicals that cause damage to the skins DNA through UV exposure and environmental assaults. Think vitamin C!

𝑺𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒄𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒂𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒍

If you haven’t done this in a few months, get your Marie Kondo on and start cleaning/ tossing your makeup brushes, applicators, cloths etc. These are breeding grounds for mold and bacteria which can lead to breakouts!🙅🏼‍♀️ 😷
Also make sure to check product labels for expiration dates. Depending on the products they can last up to up to a year unopened but even then loose their efficacy. If something does not smell or look like it did when you first bought it, time to toss!
