A question we get a lot in the office is what type of pillow should I be using?
🔸
Pillows can play a major roll in neck pain and how well you sleep. Finding the right pillow can be challenging. Your pillow should allow your neck to be in a neutral position like the first picture demonstrates. Your pillow should also be able to maintain that support through out the night.

Memory foam is the great option that conforms to your neck giving it proper support your body specifically needs. However, both of these factors are hard to achieve through the night as you toss and turn. The ChiroFlow pillow (pictured in the last two photos) uses memory foam and a water base that responds to your movement through the night. This gives you the proper support your neck needs no matter what position you end up in. The water base also allows you to remove or add water which will change the pillows firmness to your liking.

PRO TIP‼️.
Best thing I bought in grad school was a cool book holder. Look at the difference in neck position in each picture. The first picture the cervical spine is flexed forward causing pain in the base of the neck and shoulders. The second picture, using the cook book holder, allows you to put reading material in a better position allowing your cervical spine to be in the correct position keeping your neck in a less vulnerable position. It also increases the surface area of your work space! @ Heim Health

Doing a dynamic warm up will prevent injury and increase the efficiency of your workout!.
Wake up feeling less stiff and more energized! Try these out before bed. Hold each for 20-30 seconds and repeat 5 times!
❗️Hip Flexor Stretch ❗️
Hold for 20 sec each side, repeat 5 times!
Push hips forward for increased stretch.
Never stretch into pain!
Majority of us are forced to sit most of our day at work etc. This leave our hip flexors in a tight and shortened position.
Tight hip flexors can cause tightness in the groin area or an ache in your lower back, especially when standing up. Tight hip flexors can also causes poor posture and difficulty standing up straight especially after sitting for long periods of time.
