This excellently done belt buckle by Leo G Harvey (Navajo) was put on a layaway but later cancelled. We expect it won’t last long at this price. Available in the shop and online. GG

A rare find. A pair of earrings in solid 18K yellow gold with a half carat of Diamonds. But what sets these apart is the carved stone leaves set in the gold. The set is unsigned but I’m reasonably sure the maker is the Italian jeweler Buccellati. They’re designed to accommodate a dangle or drop, if desired. A one of a kind set of earrings for the discriminating buyer. See them in the shop. GG

Galena, also called lead glance, is the natural mineral form of lead sulfide. It occurs in a variety of matrices, here in limestone. It commonly forms in a cubic crystal structure. This is a large specimen, the quarter is for size reference. Available in the shop. GG.

A customer came in, looking for a replacement for the center Emerald which he’d lost out of his ring. He chose a real nice one. We reconditioned the ring, which includes checking and repairing any worn or broken prongs, checking the setting and a professional cleaning and polishing, and just like that we have a beautiful new ring. GG

A beautiful tear drop crystal Opal bezeled in 14K yellow gold was the request of this customer, and she wasn’t disappointed. With greens, golds, and reds flashing depending on the angle, truly a gorgeous piece of jewelry. We’re happy when you’re happy! Let us make you happy…..🤩. GG.

This request was easy, a silver shepherd’s hook for her earring. Matt handled it while she waited. They’re not all that quick but, we handle jewelry repairs big and small. Ring sizing, stone replacement (we have an enormous inventory of replacement stones), broken or cracked settings, converting earrings from clip on to post, and much more. A customer asked us to convert a gorgeous pair of clip on earrings, circa 1920’s, to more a wearable post style. We were glad to oblige, and we hope she enjoys wearing them. GG.

For the lapidarist looking for the rare Australian Yowah Nut Opal (first pic), he must cut tons (literally) of rough (second pic). It’s a slow process but finding one makes it worth it. They make beautiful jewelry. GG.

David got a big hug when he presented this to our customer. Her design included a Mexican Fire Opal and an Australian Boulder Opal in a 14K Rose Gold ring. She was quite pleased (to say the least). May good fortune be yours, when you wear these post-style earrings from our estate section. A Chinese symbol of Good Fortune, in 14K yellow gold, graces the hoops of green Jade. About 1 1/2 inches long. Available in the shop. GG

Just a couple of trays of small loose Opals, suitable for rings, earrings, and pendants. And we have dozens more trays to choose from. It’s not uncommon for a customer, upon seeing our inventory, to choose something they like better than what they originally had in mind. Come in and see for yourself. GG

We have a limited selection of veins of gold in quartz and silver in quartz. Many of the gold specimens are from the famous 16 to 1 Mine in Northern California. These make spectacular jewelry, and are fine specimens for collectors. GG

You know how sometimes you see something that just excites your imagination, it was like that with me and this US 1801 one cent piece. The US had declared and fought for their independence just 25 years earlier and still had many hurdles to cross. It’s a tangible reminder of where we came from. I loved it…I bought it. GG

David working with only a flashlight to help, after a car took out a power pole and left us in the dark for most of the day. But it worked out OK, David sold a customer a Black Star Sapphire ring, in the dark. Quite a feat…😎🤩👍. GG
