Our PTs had an awesome class on the Hip Complex for our mentoring/residency program! The course was instructed by Brian Blanco, PT, DPT, OCS and assisted by Christy Nguyen, PT, DPT.

The course focused on the development of a structured, practical methodology for the observation, assessment, and treatment of hip pain. Additionally, it covered movement analysis and re-education aimed at improving the hip's mobility and flexibility, enhancing body awareness and control, and preventing injuries.

Last weekend, our team completed the Shoulder course for our mentoring/residency program! The class was led by David Hodges, PT, DPT, OCS, CFMT, and assisted by Tony DeMonaco, PT, DPT.

The class focused on developing a systematic hands-on approach to the observation, assessment, and treatment of shoulder pain. It also introduced movement analysis and re-education for the shoulder, neck, and upper back.

This class teaches strategies to help patients use their core, and their sensory and motor awareness to improve posture and movement, taught by Vicky Johnson

Our team recently completed a Thoracic Spine & Ribs course taught by Scott Locken, PT, DPT, and assisted by Robbie Grant, PT, DPT.

The course focused on identifying key impairments and treating mid-back and rib pain with advanced manual therapy. It also provided a deeper understanding of the spine and rib cage to enhance function.
