Mahtab Mohammadi’s series "Persian Gardens," is full of intricate details.

Mohammadi integrates the elaborate patterns of Persian architecture into her work, creating a powerful connection to her Iranian heritage.

Through these paintings, she delves into her personal experiences as a Persian woman, highlighting the contrast between the beauty and cultural richness of her homeland and the shadowed reality for women.

A UCLA graduate with a forty-five-year career in design and fashion, Wessel’s passion for vintage fashion began with documenting a Victorian "mourning gown" donated to the university.⁠

Now, she boasts a collection of over 250 vintage gowns dating from 1790 to 1990.⁠
