Hey Guys!

I have decided to make a post regarding this issue, because it seems it's too often reoccurring.

In this industry, our time is money. Everyone's time is valuable - yours, and mine. I have previously chosen not to double book my clients as I've felt the time you have booked should be specifically for you. I have asked for 48/72 hours notice on cancellations/reschedules for this reason. I realize things happen, people get sick, etc. However, when you fail to give me extended notice, or no show your appointment, I have lost the availability to fill the spot with someone else who would like to receive services- which hugely effects my income.

Hairdressers do not get vacation, or paid time off- with inflation and the rapidly rising costs of my products and space, it's imperative that I utilize my working hours efficiently.

Going forward, if you last minute cancel, no show, or frequently reschedule, I will charge 50% of the previous alotted service as a retaining fee for the lost appointment time. This deposit will have to be paid in full before I can reschedule/service you. Furthermore, I will be double booking appointments as needed to prevent the loss of time, income, and gapping in my work schedule.
