What an amazing day at the Andover Family Fun Fest 5K Run this year! A huge congratulations to all the participants who joined us, showing incredible spirit and determination.

Your hard work and dedication truly shone through. Thank you to everyone who came out to support and celebrate with us. It’s your energy that makes events like these so special.

We have roughly 100 photos of the 5K run winners, including group and individual shots. We’ll be working hard to get these up on our website soon. Stay tuned for updates after our meeting tomorrow, where we will establish a time frame for getting these photos online.

An indoor multi-sport simulator will be opening this fall at the Andover Community Center. The simulator will be located on the 2nd level of the sports complex; formerly Conference Room A. Additional information will be shared as it becomes available.

🌟 Andover Family Fun Fest Recap! 🌟

We just concluded our Family Fun Fest last night, and we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our attendees. Your presence made the event truly special, whether you were enjoying the festivities or helping to bring everything together.

Attendees aren't just the people who come to experience the Andover Family Fun Fest; they also include the participants who make it possible. A huge thank you to our volunteers, vendors and their workers, police and firefighters for keeping us safe, sponsors for providing entertainment and enjoyment, and craft show members for showcasing our community's creations. You all are what make the Andover Family Fun Fest so wonderful.

In essence, our Fest is an event that highlights how beautiful our community is. How beautiful and amazing YOU, our attendees, are. Thank you for being a part of our community—without you, our community wouldn't be the same.

We took around 4,500 photos of the event and are currently sorting through them. We captured so many laughs, smiles, and moments of joy, and we want to share these precious memories with you as soon as possible. However, due to the sheer number of photos, it will take us some time to sort through them. If you don't find your picture, it may be due to user error, such as the photo being out of focus or having the wrong settings. We were also unable to capture every event due to the many unique activities happening simultaneously—a beautiful problem to have. Thank you for understanding if your event was not photographed by our official photographer but captured by the attendees.

We are working on a solution to share all the photos with you. Over the next week, we'll release some of the photos on Facebook as we figure out how to make them accessible to everyone. Stay tuned!

Additionally, we value your feedback to help us improve. Whether you enjoyed or disliked something about your experience, we need your input to make necessary adjustments and ensure we meet your expectations. We want to hear if our event reflects Andover's identity—the good and the areas for improvement. More details on how to provide feedback will be shared soon, whether through a Facebook group or another survey. So stay tuned and please take the time to provide your feedback. Our event will not change unless you take the time to share your thoughts.

Due to the stormy weather forecast, Magic Bounce will be closing early at 8:45 PM today.

We understand many of you have inquired about the fireworks display. Here's our plan:

🎆 We will attempt to start the fireworks at 10:00 PM. However, if it's storming at that time, we will delay the start in 15-minute increments.

🎇 10:30 PM is the latest we will shoot them off, so please stay tuned for updates.

Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities! Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Stay safe and have fun!

Also visit the Epic Chalk Lady, Andover Optical, Premier Bank, and Creative Church Andover in a new area this year behind the water tower on the community center lawn. 🌟 Andover Family Fun Fest Memories 🌟

I had a wonderful experience with this amazing family at the Andover Family Fun Fest! 📸 This year, I had the exciting opportunity to walk around the event and photograph it for our social media pages. While I’ve seen other event graphics and understand what they usually capture, I had my own vision: showcasing the wonderful people in our community.

However, it's not always easy to approach strangers and snap their photos. So, I started with some group shots, which felt a bit dull. Just as I was probably looking like a lost puppy, this lovely family approached me and asked, "Can you take a picture of us, please?"

Look at them! ❤️

Their photo radiates love and happiness. Everyone is smiling, and that little bit of love and warmth they shared with me was truly appreciated. Thank you for making this year’s festival so special!

🎉 The Andover Family Fun Fest Weekend is Here! 🎉

We're excited to see everyone tonight for fun and festivities! Join us from 5pm to 11pm as we celebrate together. The weather is looking fantastic, with a high of 87°F! ☀️

And remember, the fun continues tomorrow starting at 8am! We'll have another beautiful day with a high of 90°F, though there's a slight chance of rain in the afternoon/evening. Remember, tomorrow has a Very High UV rating of 8 out of 11, so please wear sunscreen or UV protection clothing/eyewear.

📸 Event Photography Disclaimer 📸

We will have photographers roaming the event, taking pictures and videos for social media. Some photographers will wear blue volunteer shirts, while others may wear normal attendee attire. Nevertheless, ensuring you're comfortable and safe while attending is very important to us. Therefore, if you see someone taking a photo or video you're in, please feel comfortable approaching them to let them know you prefer to avoid being in the photo/video. Then, temporarily remove yourself from the shot so they can take the photo/video, and you can return to enjoying the festivities. If you see a photo/video posted (primarily on our page or website), please message us directly, and we will be happy to discuss your concerns.☺️

However, please keep in mind this is a public event, and we cannot control the actions of every attendee. If you are uncomfortable or in a predicament, please look for volunteers in bright blue shirts or roaming police officers who will be onsite. Nevertheless, please be respectful to your fellow community members so we can all have a wonderful weekend! Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Andover Fun Fest is THIS weekend!

We're bringing the party (and the eats) to you! Our food truck will be serving up deliciousness at the event, and our restaurant will be open Friday from 11 am until 10 pm and Saturday from 11 am all the way through the fireworks!

Enjoy the fireworks from our extended patio with a view! We'll have specialty drinks and food to complete your Fun Fest experience.

Please help us congratulate the Hruby family for finding this year’s medallion! It was Eloise, 11, who found it on the playground at Hidden Creek North park. Siblings Adelyn, 12, and Finn, 6, helped search along with mom, Nikki.

And a huge thank you to Premier Banks of Andover for sponsoring the Medallion Hunt. They are celebrating 50 years with a community booth so stop by Saturday and say hi!

Registration is open for the upcoming January Pickleball Lesson program. Learn how to play pickleball with Coach Jan. Participants will learn about pickleball equipment, the court, rules and the game. Paddles and balls provided. Pre-registration for this program is required to participate, the cost is $49 per participant.
