Winter Wonderlights displays are on sale for Uptown Ankeny's 2024 attraction!

We're looking for local businesses to sponsor each display. Your sponsorship includes a lit sign next to your sponsored display, as well as two social media shout outs during the course of the Winter Wonderlights season. Winter Wonderlights is a collection of 50+ animated light displays lit throughout Uptown Ankeny starting on November 8th through December 31st, meant to be enjoyed on foot, by bicycle, and from your vehicle. Winter Wonderlights is a partnership with City of Ankeny - Government .

Every year, we end the Uptown Ankeny Farmers Market season with a bang, celebrating all things fall at our Pumpkins & Pints Harvest Market, presented by Latitude 41 Lawn and Landscapes of Iowa.

Mark your calendars for our evening farmers market, which will take place on Saturday, 9/28, from 4-8pm at the beautiful Ankeny Market & Pavilion (715 W 1st Street) in Uptown Ankeny. Shop fall goodies, including pumpkins from the Ankeny Area Historical Society, enjoy family-friendly entertainment, including a free craft with Ankeny Art Center, games and free book with the Rotary Club of Ankeny, rides on the Uptown Express, and Uptown Garage Brewing will be selling seasonal brews.

We can't wait to celebrate the end of another wonderful Uptown Ankeny Farmers Market season and the beginning of fall with our Ankeny community at Pumpkins & Pints this year!

This week at the Uptown Ankeny Farmers Market, presented by ROOF IOWA - Roofing Ankeny, Des Moines & Central Iowa, you can shop fall goodies from more than 60 local vendors, enjoy family friendly entertainment, AND support Ankeny Scholars by visiting the Ankeny Dollars for Scholars "Selfies for Scholars" booth!

The Uptown Ankeny Farmers Market runs from 8am-12pm on Saturdays through 9/21, and then we'll end with a bang with our Pumpkins & Pints Harvest market on 9/28 from 4-8pm! Markets are held at the beautiful Ankeny Market & Pavilion at 715 W 1st Street. Ankeny Dollars for Scholars is in its 42nd year serving the Ankeny Community School District's graduating seniors and their families. Since its inception in 1983, our community has provided more than $1,632,227 for 3,660 awards for our Ankeny High School and Ankeny Centennial High School graduating seniors.

Uptown Ankeny businesses are helping to raise money for Ankeny Dollars for Scholars during the month of September! Look for QR codes at your favorite Uptown businesses and donate to college scholarships for Ankeny students.
