Every harvest is an adventure, especially when you grow naturally.

Soil... water... lights and temperature… beneficial insects... humidity... we're constantly learning from our plants and then dialing-in improved environmental controls and equipment. Eventually, all the R&D reveals itself in quality and experience! That's what this is all about.

The April Harvest of Garden 1 produced some of the healthiest, terpiest, frostiest plants we've grown.

🧢 J***y packs the biggest 🥊. Skunk 🦨 P**s, no surprise, is the stankiest. And 🍎 & 🍌 is the fruitiest (4.02% terps)!

On Sunday at 3pm at Winewood, with the help of his friends Jamie Lowell and Laith Al-Saadi we will be celebrating John's life and legacy.

Before he fell ill, John planned on performing with Laith. We're selling these posters for $20 each with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the John Sinclair Trust. We also have a limited quantity of Sinclair Select t-shirts that will also benefit the Trust.

It ain’t fair, John Sinclair…

Our hearts to go out to Leni Sinclair and John’s daughters, Celia and Sonny.

John’s life was an audacious example of love and rebellion. He was a great man and a true radical. We honor and celebrate his legacy – in cannabis, anti-racism, and more – and hope that his message of equality and freedom echoes beyond the Diag at Saturday’s Hash Bash.

We were blessed to spend time with John and two of his biggest advocates – .jamie and the late great Rick Thompson – in collaboration on Sinclair Select. If you are interested in his history of the H@sh Bash, check out video in our bio.

We will be donating proceeds from all Sinclair Select ☮️ to the John Sinclair Trust. Stop by our ⛺ near the Monroe/Tappan intersection on Saturday for more info.

Today is sadly Kim’s last (full) day at Winewood.

We’ve been blessed by Kim’s immense creativity, resourcefulness, and compassion. If you’ve ever said… “holy $&% #, Winewood’s gummies are 🔥!” … “they put me right to bed!” ... “woooot, vegan and gluten-free!” ... “the flavors are delicious!” …“these just hit different”… you have the one and only Kim Smith to thank!!!

Kim’s been with us since day one, joining us as a budtender after a long career in the corporate world to follow her passion. It took six+ months after we opened to get edibles on the menu. That’s partly because I didn’t have a clear idea at the time of how we were going to make them and who would be in charge of the kitchen!

The biggest challenge to rolling out gummies was (and continues to be) how to make them vegan and all-natural WITHOUT having an automated machine that mixes and pours them into molds. Not to mention countless other conveniences found in bigger kitchens.

Even though it meant spending less time in retail helping customers understand the science of cannabis and terpenes – something she does better than anyone – Kim stepped up and absolutely killed it as our Edibles Chef.

It was a true labor of love… and we are forever grateful for Kim’s leadership, passion, and friendship these past three years.

We wanted to share some pics of our favorite products from the last couple months of at Winewood.

Photo 1: SFV OG Hash- did an excellent job of preserving the terpene profile on this west- coast classic.

Photo 2: Superboof flower- A favorite for sativa heads and flavor chasers. Plus the name is 🔥

Photo 3: “Micro” Joints- Some call them “dog walkers” or “minis”, they are the perfect size and come in a cute tin!

Runtz Live Resin- The live resin brought out the flavor we were looking for from the flower.

Biscotti Bubble Hash- Incredible skunky, gassy aroma. We consider this hash to be “half melt” it will melt fully but leaves behind some plant material when dabbed.
