Story time: Breathwork for trauma release….
In a 5 session series the memories come and only the ones that are ready. You don’t have to decide what to work on or conjure up an intention. You breath and your body and nervous system knows the way. In the work a special women (yes you are, and I am as well) saw what her pain was. It was tentacles. Reaching and suckering down. Deep memories of being under someone’s harsh hands and tongue. Later after going home and further processing she proceeds to “FIND” and old little art blessing that she had made. It was a squid’s tentacles and a poem to allow the energy of the pain to befriend her. Oh my good goddess! Yes her higher self ALREADY knew her healing process that was to unfold. It was encouraging and so settling. Profound really. That’s the magic of healing on a body/mind/spirit level….IF WE SHALL OPEN TO THE DELICIOUS AND FRIGHTENING truth that is our life. 💜🪽phot cred

This really feels like the truth. When someone I work with blames themselves so deeply (yes we do hold responsibility in many things, but not all) there is a deeper and rich background in our ancestral line of avoidance, pain, broken families, silence, abuse, mental wellness, addiction, money struggle, migration, wars, oppression, spiritual sickness, lack of culture, lack of social systems, and power dynamics. So, some of the deep and seemingly NEVER ENDING prison of the same Feelings which can be hard to place, are not always just “YOU” alone. They come from the tapestry of the past.

Ready to serve. Angels and herbal smoke. Emotional release and reset of the nervous system awaits. Deep, nutritive healing is part of our natural process of being alive. We just need to hold, love and support it.

Today a women fearful of what was within her deepest places of emotional burial ground, birthed grief. She knew she was birthing as her body contracted and sobbed while she held the pain that was present in her belly. She knew she needed to be seen and heard. She knew what this was about. Deep pain and unrelenting presence of something that was not able to be touched or accessed. It hurt. SO BAD. And it also was disregarded and shrugged off as just “how it is”. Afterwards she was “RUNG OUT” in such a good. She murmured this out of her softened and surrendered lips. She asked for her needs to be met. “Stay with me please” This work has an unexplainable power. Breathwork to release stored emotional energy and trauma. Holy mother, I’m in awe of the humans ability to heal her-self.

You see, a year is a mosaic of absolutely everything.
Joy, fear, heartache, loss, beauty, pain, love.
Failure, learning, friendship, misery, exhilaration.
Each day, each moment even, is a tiny shard of glass in this beautiful, confusing creation.
2024, like all the years before, will be another mosaic to add to your wall of art
A wall that shows the life, you are continuously gifted.
A wall that shows you are human.
A wall of survival.
I wish you many broken pieces of glass this year, my friends.
Because this is living.
And before you march on in to another year of ‘everything’, pause to look back, at the work you have created thus far.

Right now there are Tibetan Buddhist monks in a temple in the Himalayas endlessly reciting mantras for the cessation of your suffering and for the flourishing of your happiness.

Someone you haven't met yet is already dreaming of adoring you.

Someone is writing a book that you will read in the next two years that will change how you look at life.

Nuns in the Alps are in endless vigil, praying for the Holy Spirit to alight the hearts of all of God's children.

A farmer is looking at his organic crops and whispering, "nourish them."

Someone wants to kiss you, to hold you, to make tea for you.

Someone is willing to lend you money, wants to know what your favorite food is, and treat you to a movie.
Someone in your orbit has something immensely valuable to give you — for free.

Something is being invented this year that will change how your generation lives, communicates, heals and passes on.

The next great song is being rehearsed.

Thousands of people are in yoga classes right now intentionally sending light out from their heart chakras and wrapping it around the earth.

Millions of children are assuming that everything is amazing and will always be that way.

Someone is in profound pain, and a few months from now, they'll be thriving like never before. From where they are, they just can't see it.

Someone who is craving to be partnered, to be acknowledged, to arrive, will get precisely what they want — and even more. And because that gift will be so fantastical in its reach and sweetness, it will quite magically alter their memory of angsty longing and render it all "So worth the wait."

Someone has recently cracked open their joyous, genuine nature because they did the hard work of hauling years of oppression off of their psyche — this luminous juju is floating in the ether, and is accessible to you.

Someone just this second wished for world peace, in earnest.

Some civil servant is making sure that you get your mail, and your garbage is picked up, that the trains are running on time, and that you are generally safe.

Someone is dedicating their days to protecting your civil liberties and clean drinking water.

Someone is regaining their sanity.
Someone is coming back from the dead.
Someone is genuinely forgiving the seemingly unforgivable.
Someone is curing the incurable.

You. Me. Some. One. Now.

We are not designed to never hurt. We are also not designed to only hurt. It is a dance of movement between the emotions of the human experience.

I was so honored to be asked by the organizers .health to create a prayer Mandala for Entheofest 2023 for the education and celebration of sacred plants and Fungii. The Mandala contained a handmade mushroom candle as the centerpiece given by Mariella, hand harvested cedar by myself, hand harvested sage by who was also a sponsor to the event, foraged Michigan variety mushrooms 🍄 , feathers, abalone, cowries, petals, eucalyptus leaves, sunflowers, crystals, and many other sacred objects. It was sealed with a pouring of waters at all the directions. We continued to burn Copal, Frank, Myrrh, Cedar, Lavender, Thyme, and Rose petals to honor and protect our words. It was not only an alter to celebrate the sacred in nature and our Holy Mother, but it seemed to be a protected seal that nothing could breach. We used it as a catalyst to send our prayers directly up into the higher consciousness and have our hearts be understood. I was also asked to sing a song by Roberta and Mark, the sound bowl healers and got to say the words 3x3x3 “May I be filled with loving kindness, may I be well, may I be peaceful and at ease, may I BE HAPPy” and that reverberated though our mandala portal, through the people’s hearts and into that higher love 💕 Last picture is me drying out all the herbs and flowers which will become a blend for burning. I’ll call it Entheoblessed blend. Full circle. No waste. Full reverence. Liberate our plant medicines! All of her vast array of them and their true synergy with our bodies and in our lives. We have understood plants from a genetic standpoint for centuries. We have receptors in our bodies for what plant compounds offer. We need them for food and medicine. Pharmaceuticals are very young in their inception. We have a synergy with the plant kingdom. It is our birthrite.
