This month we celebrated Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Heritage Month by looking at diverse culture and traditions.
Today, our culinary team treated us to a delightful spread featuring homemade Chinese delicacies like jiaozi (dumplings) and jian dui (sesame balls)!
We learned that dumplings are a sign of wealth and prosperity!
Our Green Thumb Gardening Club was in full swing today! It was a whole team effort from residents, family members, and staff! We are so happy to see such vibrant and colorful flowers around!
On this Memorial Day, we remember and honor all who served our country, while cherishing each other’s company!
With Memorial Day approaching we got the chance to do some crafting with Ken, one of our residents, and reminisce about his time serving in the Coast Guard!
A one man band, Robert Crozier, entertained us while simultaneously playing guitar, harmonica, and even a foot tambourine! He got our toes tapping at our May birthday party!
We took a trip to Washtenaw Dairy, a local ice cream shop, and enjoyed a scoop! The popular flavor today was Mackinac Island Fudge!

We enjoyed a music concert from the talented, Marsha Mumm, yesterday! She selected tunes from different decades and some Motown classics that inspired us to dance and sing along to!

University Senior Living partnered with Dementia Friendly Saline to put on a fantastic Dementia Friendly Carnival Event! A day geared towards those with Dementia and their caregivers to come together, have some fun, and gather resources for support.
