Our culinary team whipped up something special for our happy hour today: delicious garlic French bread pizza slices topped with classic pepperoni.

Today, we enjoyed a discussion and inclusion video about Hispanic Heritage Month!

We had a lovely lunch at Metger’s German restaurant, surrounded by cuckoo clocks and beer steins. The table was filled with delicious bratwurst, crispy potato pancakes, and spätzle, making for a truly memorable outing!

On today's episode of Arrow Nicely News, we're checking out the National Assisted Living Week celebrations across Arrow communities!

National Assisted Living Week was established by the National Center for Assisted Living in 1995. It is an annual observance dedicated to recognizing the important role of assisted living communities in providing care and services to elderly and disabled individuals.

This year’s theme was “Inspiring Generations,” encouraging people to look back at how assisted living has evolved and grown, inspired by the residents and those who care for them.

To celebrate, each department in Arrow communities took a day of the week and planned something special for staff and residents to enjoy!

Today we celebrated Memory Care Monday with our amazing Memory Care Director, Antisha, and her team of dedicated care partners. We had a lovely day filled with scrapbooking and planting mums for the upcoming season!

To kick off the celebration, we enjoyed a delightful brunch in honor of Grandparents Day. A big shoutout to our Culinary Director, Deb, and her entire team for crafting a fantastic buffet that made the occasion truly special.

Wednesday night we enjoyed a delightful outdoor choral concert, where the familiar songs created a warm atmosphere and encouraged everyone to sing along.

In honor of National Food Bank Day, we toured Food Gatherers, Michigan’s first food rescue organization. We enjoyed meeting the staff, giving them DIY thank you cards, and donating canned goods. It was inspiring to support their vital work in our community.

Today, Kyle Schippa gave a fantastic presentation on West Michigan's shoreline. It was great to revisit familiar spots and learn new facts about places we haven’t explored yet.
