Thank you for making this year a huge success. We surpassed last year’s numbers with over 13,000 warm, gently-loved and new sweaters hoodies and fleeces for those in need in our community.

We have finished collecting and are working hard to distribute now to communities, food pantries, organizations and individuals throughout the area.

Annapolis Area: Chick-fil-A Annapolis, Edgewater, and Westfield Annapolis Mall will have collection boxes placed in store now through close of business on Saturday December 2nd, 2023

Crofton: The Coldwell Banker location in Waugh Chapel is having a drop box out, now through December 15th.

Severna Park: Severna Park Chick-fil-A will be a collection location now through December 15th at close of business.

We are so excited to receive a grant from Rotary Club of Annapolis
The funds will be used to keep those in need in our community warm this winter 💛

🎉CONGRATULATIONS to the following non-profit organizations that were the lucky recipients of the Crab Feast grants totaling $31,000 distributed. 🎉

Looking for a few volunteers TOMORROW (Saturday) from 10-12p to help sort, size and bag. Our collection is growing fast, it’s cold outside and with a little help we can get the warm clothes distributed quickly.

What an amazing day delivering sweaters to Tyler Heights Elementary, Asbury and Annapolis Gardens
Thank you to Ann Parker and her hubbie Paul - we got it done! 2500 out the door, plus laundry detergent and socks from a grant from the Elks club 622. So excited to be a part of this terrific event!

On this Earth Day, Friday, April 22, the public is invited to drop off paper to be shredded and recycled, small electronics like computers and smart phones for reuse, used books to be sent overseas, sweaters to be given to those in need and, used items to help with the SPCA. Drop off will be at the Farmers’ Market, 275 Harry S. Truman Parkway at Riva Road, from 9 to noon. Volunteers will be there available to assist you.

Paper will be shredded and recycled by Shred Instead who will provide on-site secure document shredding. Used books will be collected by Books for International Goodwill, who will sort them and send them to less developed parts of the world. Smart phones, computers and other small electronic items will be recycled for others to use. Sweaters, coats, and jackets will be collected by who will clean them and offer them to those in need to the community through Heritage Baptist Church, Eastport United Methodist Church, Asbury United Methodist Church, Feed Anne Arundel, and to residents at Light House - Homeless Prevention Support Center. And old towels, old bedding, gently used pet toys, and unopened pet food will be collected by the SPCA of Anne Arundel County to assist with their care of their animals.

Please help Rotary in on Earth Day.

Although this event is free, donations will be gladly accepted.

JustOneSweater is collecting laundry detergent for the pantry to distribute this Saturday… serving those in need in our community.
