What a wonderful way to wrap up Active Aging Week with our Healthy Living Expo! A big thank you to our community partners at BAYADA Home Health Care, Gilchrist Cares, Tribute Home Care, Mobile Performance Therapy- Stevensville, Avila Home Care, and Austin Pharmacy & Medical Supplies for making this event so impactful.

At Brightview Senior Living, we believe Active Aging is about more than just physical activity—it’s about meaningful connections! What better way to socialize than by making limoncello together?
Our Executive Director, Mandy, shared her family’s famous limoncello recipe, and of course, we enjoyed some delicious samples. Everyone even got to take home a miniature bottle as a keepsake!

Our Fall Festival this week was the perfect addition to Active Aging Week!

Residents and associates came together for games, prizes, live music, and delicious food from the Funnel Fare food truck.

We also had a blast with a scarecrow building contest and pumpkin decorating.

The event wrapped up with our ‘Pie Your Director’ for Alzheimer’s fundraiser, where residents, family members, and associates paid to pie one of our four brave directors. They were great sports, and we raised money for a good cause, all in good fun!

It was a fantastic time for all!

Another fantastic party in the books at Brightview Annapolis! Today we celebrated Oktoberfest with the lively Oompah Boys band, enjoyed some authentic German beers, and of course, indulged in delicious pretzels!

We had another fantastic cultural day! This time, we traveled to India with snacks, drinks, and a dinner menu themed for the occasion.

What an amazing experience exploring new flavors together!

Today’s Mexican Independence Day celebration was a vibrant success, filled with mariachi music, refreshing margaritas, and lots of happy faces!

We want to thank all of our residents as well as our referral sources who joined us for this eventful day.

Yesterday was another busy day at Brightview Annapolis!

We started the morning with our Resident Satisfaction Survey All-Star Group, made up of dedicated residents who will be championing and cheerleading their neighbors to complete the annual surveys.

We had a group who enjoyed a delicious lunch outing at CCarrol's Creek Cafe

The day wrapped up with a successful car wash, raising funds for our AAlzheimer's AssociationWalk team. A big thank you to everyone who participated!

Soaking up the last of Summer, we made suncatchers out of pressed flowers this week.

Thank you to our sister community Brightview Senior Living for hosting the Regional Cookoff today. We had a blast, enjoyed lots of food, and were thrilled to see your beautiful community.

What could be better than a midweek wine tasting?

🍷 We enjoyed sampling wines from around the world, including selections from France, Spain, and New Zealand!

We had a claw-some time last night at Lobster Monday at Rams Head Roadhouse! Delicious lobster, great company, and fun vibes—Mondays have never been better.

Today we went to The Naval Academy Brigade of Midshipmen Formal Dress Parade. We had perfect weather and great seats, and even finish the day with a pizza party.



At Brightview Annapolis, our Community Connections Program brings Independent and Assisted Living residents together to spend time with and support our residents in Wellspring Village, who are living with dementia. Today, four residents from Independent Living joined in making popcorn balls, serving at happy hour, and enjoying meaningful conversations with Wellspring Village residents.

We truly are a community when we are serving each other!

Our Director team rolled up their sleeves today to wash our associates’ cars as a gesture of appreciation. We couldn’t make Brightview Annapolis such a wonderful place to live without their hard work and dedication!

More toe taping fun from our Luau.

Today’s luau was another party for the books! From colorful lei greetings and mesmerizing hula dancing to the sweet sounds of the ukulele, it was a tropical escape. We cooled off with refreshing frozen slushies and even had a whole roasted pig!

Our International Days continue to be a hit with residents, featuring specialty drinks, snacks, and cuisines from around the world.

Most recently, we enjoyed an afternoon in the UK, savoring gin cocktails, beer, and a classic dinner of fish and chips. Cheers to a taste of Britain!

Today was a bustling day at Brightview Annapolis!

We had resident meetings, associate training sessions, and our Sales Directors hosted back-to-school giveaways for our fabulous associates and their kids.

To top it off, our very own concierge, Michael, treated us to a wonderful concert to end the evening!

Today’s Eiffel Tower Watercolor brought out our artistic abilities.

We enjoyed watching the Olympics Opening Ceremony this afternoon. With French Macarons, and fresh croissants it was the perfect Parisian afternoon.

Today wasn’t the hottest day of the summer, but it was warm enough to enjoy some ice cream! 🍦

It's not every day you get to turn 103, which is why associates at Brightview Senior Living (Shelton) wanted to give Rosalie the celebration she deserved for her special day! 🎂

Shelton's Wellspring Village director was determined to go above and beyond to celebrate her resident's big day last week. When she put out the call for birthday cards, she never expected the response she'd get from her Brightview family. Rosalie was delighted on her big day when she received over 200 cards!
