We are a full service facility accommodating all foreign and domestic vehicle repairs. We pride ourselves in excellent service, from customer communication skills to vehicle repairs and needs. We are expanding our team and would like those that can meet the following Qualifications and maintain the position’s Roles & Responsibilities to join.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES MECHANICS
● Inspect, properly diagnose, and repair vehicles with mechanical/electrical problems.
● Operate all automotive repair tools and diagnostic equipment
● Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
● Must meet productivity and efficiency goals (perform jobs in a timely manner)
● Must maintain a professional appearance and work ethic, must have a valid driving license with no points and be able
to operate a manual vehicle.

QUALIFICATIONS
● ASE Certified is a plus
● Automotive Technician experience 3 Years +
● Willingness to learn and advance knowledge base
● Luxury vehicle (such as Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Range Rover, Bentley, Audi etc.) experience preferred

Shop Helper Duties:
Help techs as needed.
Perform light auto repair, brakes, tires, oil changes etc.
Willingness to learn.
Keep shop clean and stocked as needed.
Must be drug free, and have a clean driving record.

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8am to 5pm Friday 8am to 4pm (No Weekends)
Starting pay based on experience and performance: $25+

Responsibilities would include:
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
Pay will be determined by experience. We specialize in foreign auto repair !
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
We encourage all applicants who are qualified to apply. We are also looking for a shop helper to assist the techs, light auto repairs and keep the shop clean.

Fall Car Care Month Checklist: Winter is on the Way

October is Fall Car Care Month, and the crew at TriTec reminds motorists that checking their vehicles before the temperatures drop is a sensible way to avoid being stranded out in the cold and the unexpected expense of emergency repairs.

“The last thing any driver needs is a vehicle that breaks down in cold, harsh winter weather. Winter magnifies existing problems like hard starts, sluggish performance and rough idling,” having TriTec perform your fall maintenance, is a small investment of time and money to ensure peace of mind, and help avoid the cost and hassle of a breakdown during severe weather.”

TriTec Auto recommends the following Fall Car Care
checklist to make sure your vehicle is ready for cold winter weather ahead:

Heating, Wipers & Lights

Make sure heaters, defrosters and wipers work properly.
Consider winter wiper blades and use cold-weather washer fluid. As a general rule, wiper blades should be replaced every six months.
Check to see that all exterior and interior lights work and headlights are properly aimed.

Tires & Brakes
Tire Tread- compare

Check the tire tread depth and tire pressure of all tires, including the spare. If snow and ice are a problem in your area, consider special tires designed to grip slick roads.
During winter, tire pressure should be checked weekly.
Have the brakes checked. The braking system is the vehicle’s most important safety item.

Gas, Oil & Filters

Keep your gas tank at least half full throughout the cold weather to prevent moisture from forming in gas lines and possibly freezing.
Be diligent about changing the oil and filter at recommended intervals. Dirty oil can spell trouble in winter. Consider changing to “winter weight” oil if you live in a cold climate.
Check the fuel, air and transmission filters at the same time.

System Checks – Charging, Cooling & Exhaust

Have the battery and charging system checked, as cold weather is hard on batteries.
Clean, flush and put new antifreeze in the cooling system. As a rule of thumb, this should be done every two years.
Have the exhaust system checked for carbon monoxide leaks, which can be especially dangerous during cold weather driving when windows are closed.

Pack the Essentials
Prepare Your Care

Make sure that your ice scraper and snow brush are accessible and ready to use.
Stock an emergency kit with jumper cables, a flashlight, blankets, extra clothes, bottled water, nonperishable food and a first aid kit with any needed medication.
