We are a small, family owned and operated you-pick blueberry farm located in Choccolocco, Alabama.
We have fresh eggs for sale year round from our free range chickens, and seasonal organic produce. Our normal blueberry season is late June through the month of July. We have fresh eggs from our free range chickens year round, and seasonal organic produce.
Bennett’s Blueberry Farm will be closed this summer due to lack of blueberries. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Normally our blueberries start getting ripe near the end of June. Since the Covid-19 virus is still prevalent, we will have to decide before the end of June whether or not we will be open to the public. We may decide to sell prepicked blueberries only or have picking by appointment only with limited times. We will post information on FB later.

All of our products made with blueberries during blueberry season are made exclusively with local Bennett's Blueberries. The absolute BEST blueberries. On top of that they are the kindest incredible people who also do not use any chemicals on any or their products. We are honored to use them and will do our best to represent them well!

We’re getting calls about our blueberries. The berries are not ripe yet. It will probably be at least another 4-5 weeks before they are ready for picking. We just have to wait on Mother Nature and be patient.
Folks are starting to ask about our blueberries. Typically our blueberries start getting ripe around the third week of June (give or take a week or so). July is National Blueberry Month. Come out to Bennett's Blueberry Farm and pick some delicious and nutritious blueberries. Easy to eat, easy to freeze, or use in your favorite recipe. We're open each Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 6:30 AM until 12 noon.

We will be opening this Saturday, June 23. Our hours are 6:30 AM until 12 noon on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The blueberries are ready for you to pick and are delicious this year. The price is $10 per gallon and we provide buckets for picking the berries. Turn off Choccolocco Road at Ellie's Lane, next to the SAMCO. Follow the drive for 1/2 mile, then follow the blueberry signs.
Blueberries are doing well. Hoping to see some begin to ripen in the next few weeks. Please be patient—they’ll be worth the wait!

Sorry to have to announce that we will not be opening this season. Between last summer's drought and a couple of really cold nights when the blueberry bushes were blooming, we do not have enough berries to open for picking. We hate to disappoint those who wanted to come pick, but Mother Nature had other ideas this season.
