Couldn’t leave this guy out! First day of school yesterday, first dressed up Friday for football. He’s shown some decent patience for my hovering without his brother here. Junior year looks like a fun one!

We dropped this boy off at yesterday and I KNOW it’s going to be amazing for him because he’s smart, funny, and most importantly, kind. He has already has told me great things about the 24 hours since we drove away. And though I told myself ‘no one likes a cry baby’…I was anyway.

I was able to finally get a picture of this beauty that I wrapped up too soon as a gift during the holidays! It is 36” x 12” reclaimed wood and turquoise epoxy with monogrammed epoxy inlay. It holds *just* enough for my family. I’m always up for customs!

Last year, I ran 637 miles. At the beginning of December, I realized I was 30-some miles away from 1,000 miles this year. I went after it…and promptly got a sinus infection and bronchitis that stopped me from running for six days. But now, NOW…I did it!
