Hey fam! I'm sharing my fundraising link again in hopes I can generate a few more donations. We've already been able to purchase 2 plane tickets and supplement the income lost for a peer support that is flying out from California to come and be with me the day before my first chemotherapy appointment, the day of and a few days after. That's freaking amazing!

There will be a total of 6 rounds of Chemotherapy, so I'm hoping we can raise a bit more, that way I know I can financially help the people that are taking time off work to come and help me.

Ok friends, the diagnosis is in...

It has taken a few days for the shock to set in and I've been processing my feelings the last couple of days.

So I knew for sure that I had breast cancer, but I literally know NOTHING about it because I've never personally known anyone to go through it to share any of that with me.

What I have found out is that the breast cancer I have is currently

STAGE 3
Triple Positive (A Sub-Type of HER2 Positive Breast Cancer)

It literally came out of nowhere, and was something I only noticed for the first time two months ago, and basically immediately started the process to have it checked out.

I will be undergoing 6 chemotherapy treatments, spaced three weeks apart, followed by a mastectomy (reconstruction surgery wont be able to happen until 2 years after treatment ends), then finally radiation.

In between all of that there are a lot of doctors appointments, like a LOT, I have a wig fitting Friday, like this s**t is getting real, I feel kind of crazy, like this is a dream or something, I don't know quite how to explain it...

I do feel hopeful, ALL of my doctors are great, and I'm just going to be taking everything day by day. I'm looking forward to having a reason to rock a bunch of cool wigs, the reconstructive surgury comes with a tummy tuck lmao,

Oh, and I'll be getting a prosthetic t***y, and I'm naming her Tina. She gon have bluetooth capabilities and also tap to pay. Don't try and steal my idea, I've already poor man patented it!

For the most part, I feel very positive and supportive, with the occasion wave of terror. I know it's a tough topic to talk about, it's always awkward when you hear about a friend receiving this type of news. What do you say?

I'm going to post this Go Fund Me that I created and will be used to help the people that will be helping me afford to take time off work without them having to worry about being able to pay their bills. Please know I am not expecting really anything, but closed mouths don't get fed and this is one of the only real needs we will have.

It's that time of year again! It took me a few tries to get the look down, but the Beer Mug cake is definitely one of my favorites to decorate 😄

It's been a HOT minute. Ain't gunna lie, I NEEDED a break. Over a year of working and building my business every single day, whilst trying to be a good mommy and wife. I burned myself out, doing several things that brought me so much joy, but my balance was WAY out of wack 😅

After moving and going through some emotional grounding, I feel ready to take Arizona on, on my terms. After all, this is MY business 😊

Shopping for supplies has been wild, everything is almost double the cost of what it was 1 year ago, especially BUTTER, which is key in making my buttercream. I away strive to find the best cost of my supplies so I can be competitive with my pricing.

It was a little sudden of a decision for my family, but we are very excited for this next chapter in our lives.

Semi-Naked cakes 😊

I remember the first semi-naked cake order I had gotten. These cakes were trending, and I knew it was only a matter of time before I would have the opportunity to try my hand at this elegant style.

One may think, by the simple nature of the cake that this would be an easy look to achieve, but they are actually very far from it.

It's a process. But when taken the necessary steps, can really be quite moving. Their elegance can match the ambiance of the occasion, just like this gorgeous wedding cake that I had the honor of making.
