Credit card companies DENYING charges for gun sales IS REAL!!!

Had our first one of these in the store yesterday on a Synchrony bank Visa card. Customer called to find out why the charge was declined and was informed it was strictly because it was in a gun shop!

He canceled the card IMMEDIATELY!

Guess that's what it's going to take to get the attention of Left Wing institutions - more and more cancelations. It looks like the battle lines are being drawn.

He is survived by two nephews and a niece in Maryland who did not have much opportunity to get to know their uncle.

A gathering will be held with the family here at the store on Sunday March 19th from 2-5 p.m.

EXCELLENT video on the argument for law-abiding citizens to have guns and not have "artificial" limits placed on them such as magazine capacity, type or features! Take a look when you get a chance and take his lessons to heart for the next time some Liberal Socialist says you don't need a gun because we have police and the military.

It is based on the case in Florida in which FOUR armed robbers invaded a store where the owner was legally armed. In the ensuing gun battle the armed citizen killed TWO of the criminals. Four against one and he not only lived but won the gun fight!

As stated in the video what might have happened if the store owner only had 10 round magazines or couldn't have a semi-automatic or it had to have a TEN pound trigger pull like in Massachusetts? All of those restrictions are artificial limits passed in "feel good" legislation that ONLY limit your ability to defend yourself and your family without affecting criminals!

Also in the video he talks about how criminals can strike anytime they like when the situation is in their favor while the good guy has to be prepared for an attack ALL the time! Then when attacked the good guy has to make split second decisions that have lifetime consequences both in court and financially.

Another point he makes is that criminals and our politicians are NOT going to give up their guns so why should we. Amen. That's really what the Second Amendment is about - being able to stop a tyrannical government.

The only thing is disagree with the author on is gun insurance. He is promoting USCCA which is not bad but I think US LawShield is a better deal and you can check them out in the link below.

Smash and grab on Halloween seems to be the way gun shops in North Carolina are being robbed now. Thieves hit four stores in and around Winston-Salem recently. They are in and gone in less than a MINUTE! Not enough time for the cops to react.

We had our front door smashed in on the 28th by some junior grade thugs at about 1:30 in the morning. Swung what looked like an aluminum bat to break the glass but that set the alarm off immediately and the cops were here extremely quickly. They didn't get inside or steal anything but the door was expensive to replace.

Interesting ruling from a judge in West Virginia concerning guns without serial numbers on them. Keep in mind that serial numbers were NOT required until 1968 so for most of the history of the nation they have not been necessary.

"Fi****ms with no serial number are just as “bearable” as the same firearm with a serial number, and there is no “common use” issue here as the presence or lack of a serial number makes no difference with respect to whether the type of weapon is commonly used. Finally, I can find no authority for the idea that a firearm without a serial number would meet the historical definition of a dangerous or unusual firearm."

With all the controversy surrounding homemade (3D printed, made from 80% kit, machined from a block of metal) guns it will be interesting to watch how this plays out in the court system.

Mass shooting (anything with 4 or more victims) in east Raleigh yesterday by a 15 year old! Don't agree with Roy Boy on much but do agree with how he described itas a "senseless, horrific, and infuriating act of violence".

So obviously seemingly random acts of unprovoked murder can happen where we all live. It should serve as a warning to everyone to be constantly aware of our surroundings and not to get lost in your phone or be oblivious of what's going on around you even in a nice quiet neighborhood like this.

I'm afraid though it will lead to more calls for gun control even though a 15 year old is too young to buy a gun.

There had to be warning signs that this kid was not right in the head BEFORE this shooting. What had this person posted on social media or written or talked about with any friends/family? No one had any idea that the shooter might have been prone to violence? I find that hard to believe.

Will have to see how the details of this mass murder unfold to see what lessons can be (and should have been) learned.

If you don't have the means to defend yourself you are most likely to end up as what's called a victim. However having the means but not knowing how and when to use them is just as bad.
