Happy New Year!!
After much consideration, I have decided to retire yet again. As often happens, circumstances change and we find ourselves taking a different path than originally planned. The key is to always remain flexible, pivoting to reinvent yourself and create a life filled with genuine happiness. I truly believe life is happening FOR us, not just TO us.
February 18th will be my last advertised class. I will be available for private lessons until April 1st.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for trusting me with your training and for your collective support in this endeavor.

Pivotal Women's Basic Pistol Class today....
Emotions ran high, as this group of came and unpacked some unfinished emotional business/trauma surrounding fi****ms and their use. It was an incredible privilege today to hold space for those who showed up IN EARNEST to be different, to feel differently, and to do HARD things. We paid homage to our pasts, and found a NEW courage to continue. We will never be the same after today.
Sometimes, just sometimes, it's not about the fundamentals of shooting at all. FULL STOP.
And now, our journey can really begin........

Private Defensive Pistol Session today, with an emphasis on learning how to move and shoot, using available cover/concealment, all while clearing malfunctions and performing reloads on the move. The attached videos are to provide examples of drills that were utilized, not an invitation for unsolicited armchair critiques. Each video was immediately reviewed with the student, along with appropriate learning points of interest.

Highly productive private lesson this morning with this ! With her brand new Walther PDP F, we worked on multiple shots taken on multiple targets, quickly acquiring the sights and keeping the trigger moving. Then we shifted focus to efficient reloads, while still engaging multiple targets. Such a jammed packed two hours!
