We want families to be prepared for the start of the year! Please mark your calendars and times to come to school and meet your child’s teacher before the school year starts on Monday, August 12th. Please note the hours are spaced out due to parking and wanting to make this event easy for quick visits if families have to come during lunch breaks or in between their work schedules. In early September, we will have Open House in the evening for families that can’t make it before school starts. Thank you!

Ahoy, mateys! 🏴‍☠️ Sharks had a blast during pirate week!

They did so many different activities! They built fruit ships, tie dyed, played games, watched a performance and had pirate ship fun!! ⚓️🏴‍☠️

Shark, Donny, (aka Ash Ketchum) gave a treat to his friends at camp today.🎹🎶
He played the theme from Pokémon on the keyboard and handed out snacks, Pokémon cards, and activity sheets. Thank you, Donny! 🦈

Shark campers made Lego costumes for Lego week. 🧱
They also got a special visit from the Hillsborough Fire Department 🚒.

Shark, Leyton, visited the Rocky stairs and statue in Philadelphia with his brother and sister. 🥊

This week, Sharks had a sweet time in Candy Land 🍭🍬!

They played games with friends, had fun building gum drop buildings, making Oobleck, and they had their very first in-house field trip with the teddy bear mobile🧸! They also worked towards their reading📖 with the Rays Goal!

Sharks are ending this week with a fun dance party with a surprise visit from Sharky and her dinosaur friend! 🦈🦖

Mrs. Chapman promised her student, Ronan, to meet up for lunch if he scored 5’s on his FAST. 🤩They met for lunch today to celebrate his accomplishment and had a great time! 🍝

Today was the first day of camp!! 😎 We had a great time creating King and Queen 👸🏻🤴🏽 of Candyland crowns, making fruit cones🍓, reading time 📖, and fun with friends playing games. Sharks had a wonderful time.

Shark, Nevaeh, celebrated her birthday 🥳 and the beginning of summer 😎 by taking a cruise to the Bahamas 🇧🇸.

Dylan, his brother Dax, cousin Ava and parents had a blast at Volcano Bay 💦🛝 and T. Rex 🦖Cafe.

Stella had fun at a USF cheer camp. 🐂 📣 She is working towards her goal to cheer in college!

Mason ended the last day of school winning first place during championship game, then kicking off the summer with a 7-2 win for the summer league. 🏒🥅 We love seeing Sharks showing their teamwork skills during summer vacation.

Summer started with Gianna going fishing for the first time! She caught 2 fish. 🎣🐟

Sharks are learning and visiting historical sites this summer. Lilliana visited Central High School which is a historical Landmark in Little Rock, Arkansas. 📓 The desegregation of Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, gained national attention on September 3, 1957, when Governor Orval Faubus mobilized the Arkansas National Guard in an effort to prevent nine African American students from integrating the high school.

Faye finished her Keys vacation by meeting the author Judy Blume! 🤩 She also received a signed copy of her book “Are you there God? It's me Margaret”. 📖

Brianna and Avery had spa day 🧖🏼‍♀️for Brianna's 8th birthday and then finished the day at Busch Gardens 🎢. They had a great start to summer vacation. 😎

SLAM! Apollo summer camp is partnered with the Tampa Bay Rays for their reading with the Rays program! 📚 By reading books this summer, students will circle their bases. If they reach home base, they receive two tickets to a Tampa Bay Rays game! ⚾️🏟️ Sharks will also receive some swag along the way!

Faye is in the Florida Keys! She is spent some time at the butterfly garden 🦋 and the oldest aquarium. 🐠

Sharks Connor, Kaedyn, Joaquin & Finn enjoyed a weekend together of fishing, kayaking & swimming in Matlacha. 🛶🎣

Shark, Nina, is taking some time this summer to volunteer. So, Robert and Nina are enjoying horseback riding at Sun City Stables! 🐴
