Car fire. 7/9/24

E20, E28, R20, CPT1, B2 dispatched to auto accident with entrapment. E20 arrived on scene with one person entrapped. Pt was extricated and transported to hospital. 6/28/24 C shift

Engine 28 was invited to attend the Florida Fire Conference today to do some hands on training doing saw work. They were able to work with multiple different saws including circular saws, chain saws, and angle grinders.

Today 28/C shift did some big water and VEIS training. “Firefighting training prepares us for the worst, so we can bring out our best when it matters the most”

Friday 11/24 Q40, E42, E28, Sq3, R40, R42, CPT 1, and B1 were dispatched to a house fire in 40’s first. On arrival Q40 had heavy fire showing on the alpha and bravo side of structure. Crews worked fast to put the fire out with extreme hoarder conditions. This same house was on fire back in October 2019.

At 3:00 pm today 28 units along with Q40, E43, and APK E1 responded to a house fire off Central and 18th. E28 was first on scene with heavy fire showing from the roof. Firefighters off E28 quickly stretched a line to the front door and had a good knock down on the fire. Good job to all personnel on scene.

Today Engine 28 and Rescue 28 did some big water training over at the city of Apopka’s training facility.

At 3:30am E27, APK E3, Q40, and Tanker 28 were dispatched to an RV fire in Wekiva Springs State Park. C-Shift 4/17/23

Today E28, R28, TA28 joined up with Apopka E1, HR1, and Tower 1 to work on drafting and pumping so that the citizens of Apopka are safe if and when a rural water supply is needed. Thank you again for your hospitality and knowledge.

E28 dispatched to motorcycle fire with exposures. On scene E28 found a motorcycle fully involved with extension to house. Fire was extinguished by crew and was a can handle for E28, E43, and CPT 1. C shift 3/23/23

Another house fire for 28/C at 7:05 am right before shift change. E28, E27, Q40, APK E1, R28, R27, Cpt 1, and B1. Heavy fire and black turbulent smoke on arrival from the Charlie side. 3/12/23
