Due to Tornado warnings in the Orlando area-Apopka area we will be cancelling girls volleyball practice today for the safety of our athletes and drivers. We will be back at it on August 6th according to scheduled 📅 time

Practice time is here !!! As all my coaching counterparts say - work hard and make practice tough so games are easy !!! No matter what level of play you work hard 😓 only way to get better ❤️‍🩹

Everyone is being asked to come back for day 2 !!! Seniors 9am arrival do not be late ⏰- all others your arrival time is 9:30 am - gym doors 🚪 will be locked 🔒 once arrival time is over- all kids will be leaving the gym by noon 🕛!! Again any questions email [email protected]

2024 WEKIVA VOLLEYBALL TRYOUTS
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to noted times.

July 29 - 9th grade 10 am to noon, 10th-12th grade noon to 2 pm
July 30 - 9th grade 10 am to noon, 10th-12th grade noon to 2 pm
July 31 - 9th grade 10-11 am, 10th-12th grade noon to 2 pm

Some athletes may be asked to arrive at different times, and tryouts may run late. We appreciate your patience.

Teams will be announced the evening of July 31.

PRESEASON PRACTICE
August 1 and 2 - JV 9-11 am, Varsity 11:30 am to 2 pm. Please arrive 30 minutes early.

ATHLETIC CLEARANCE REQUIRED
You must have an approved Athletic Clearance that is valid. (Clearances are valid for one year.) A new EL2 form is required every year, as are the video learning certificates. ECG and birth certificate only required once for most students. Additional forms may be required for special eligibility situations (e.g., EL7 and GA4 for homeschool students). New to wekiva or high school sports - you need 1 ECG for your high school years !

May and June open gym dates !

You want to amp up your game and your skills head over to tryouts for the boys and the girls !

Make sure you are ready to for open gym times as well as the season. All physicals must be completed ✔️ before first day of try outs in July !!!
