sorry. We were closed for a couple of days. My husband took a tumble. So we are going to open at 4 pm for the rest of the week so that he can recover. We love our Romeos and Juliet’s. There is so many choices here to have a happy tummy!

Far too many Apopka Mom & Pop Eateries have been forced to close recently. We have put this list together to raise community awareness to all of the local, non franchised options that our little town has to offer. Speaking of "little town", Apopka is home to over 𝟱𝟳,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, that's 𝟭𝟮,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘 people than Altamonte Springs, and 𝟭𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘 people than Winter Garden, yet it feels as though these communities have more dining options than Apopka, we need to change that perception and/or reality..

We have quite a few options to choose from right here in our own community. As stated in an earlier post referencing the closing of Southern Deli, we generally eat 3 meals a day, and a snack or 2 in between. Obviously most of us choose not to eat out every meal or can we afford to. All I am asking is that you think of non franchised Apopka establishments before our surrounding communities. We have many great options here, and the more money that is spent here locally will only encourage others to open their small business here in our hometown.

The list below is a work in progress, if I have missed a business, please drop it in the comments and I will add it to the list as I would like to post this list weekly. Also I have not included any Food Trucks in the list, this is not an oversight, just haven't had the time to research them yet, again you are welcome to drop their names in the comments and I will add them as well.

There is enough variety on this list for all of us to patronize these establishments several times a week.
