Sorry to say but Kelly Park is open but closed to swimming due to high bacteria. I will post when the swimming opens.

Rock Springs/Kelly Park will be open tomorrow...yayyy! Get there early 6am! To make sure you get an entry ticket from the police officer. 😃

Today Kelly Park/ Rock Springs is open but the water is closed due to alligator activity. I will post when it reopens.

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY TO YOU ALL!
The busy season has begun at Rock Springs/Kelly Park so here are some rules of thumb: Monday thru Friday be here no.later than 9am. On Saturday and Sunday be in line no later than 6am. On Saturday and Sunday we use a ticket process which is..an officer passes out these tickets to the first cars in line til it reaches capacity ( those tickets get you in immediately or a time.of your choice for that day only) after that they pass out 50 vouchers to the next 50 cars to return at 1pm for entry. I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH...YOU MUST BE IN YOUR VEHICLE TO ACCEPT THIS TICKET IF NOT THEY WILL PASS YOU BY. The ticket system begins at 7am the park opens at 8am. I have had a couple turn aways today because of no ticket and i felt very sorry for them. Also...if you have your own kayak you can launch from Camp Joy via Kelly Park for the admission fee. 2people $3..3 or more $5...this does not include entry to the park. That is separate. No launching after noon at Camp Joy. I hope I have answered some regularly asked questions. Have a great summer and hope to see you soon! HAPPY TUBING!

HELLO HAPPY TUBERS! Just a heads up on how Kelly Park is running this year. So many are coming and disappointed that you can't get in due to capacity. Mon-fri. you must be here no later than 10am on Sat and Sun you must be here in line no later than 7am or you will not get in. The police officers hand out however many parking spots that are available for that day and then they pass out 50 vouchers to return at 1pm for entry to the park and that's it. It doesn't matter how many cars leave they will not let more cars in. Kelly Park is not an amusement park and that is how the county is running it.i hope this clears up alot of confusion and we hope to see you soon.

I'm getting alot people asking about the opening of swimming to Kelly park. Sorry to say"not yet". My husband and I have been emailing and FBing Jerry Demmings and Christine Moore to please open the water but it cant hurt to hear from you all as well. All other waters around us is open. Actually the water park in Apopka is opening this weekend. Go figure. I will keep you all informed as soon as I know.

Corona go away! As of today Kelly park/Rock Springs is closed to swimming due to social distancing. You can picnic but no swimming...Rock Springs Bar and Grill is there to help with your picnic supplies as far as food. We will be open from noon til 6. Stay safe ya'll!

Happy Hurricane Dorian...the county has decided to keep Kelly Park open the rest of today and open tomorrow. Yayyyyy!!!

Dorian is putting a kink in our plans....on Sunday...Kelly Park Rock Springs will be closing at noon in preparation for the hurricane. Stay safe ya'll and we will post when the park reopens.
