School is here. I want to ask you a favor, sit down with your child for 5 minutes and explain to them that being very tall, short, chubby, skinny, black or white is not a joke. That there is nothing wrong with wearing the same shoes every day. Explain to him or her that a used backpack carries the same dreams as a new one... Please teach them not to exclude anyone for "being different" or not having the same possibilities as one. Explain to them that teasing hurts... and that they go to school to LEARN, NOT to compete.
YOU AND I ARE WORTH THE SAME!

If your, or a child you may know is being made fun or bullied or made feel less because they are different in size or strength and ability...give me a call or IM me and they can become part of something bigger...were differences are embraced and they learn that the strength of one can enhance the many.

This is Week 1 Day 2 Back Shoulders Abs 2 mile on treadmill ( 4 miles total)

So we had the 2nd training session for the Jukuren (熟練) karate Do class (aka Kata Karate). Had 2 show for the training. We covered my newly developed warm up session then went into the movement of the first of five Kihon Katas. I got some great feedback, what we are doing is great not to intense but intense enough to feel you have worked out.

Today was bitter sweet... Senpei Haley Reay who has been training with me for the past 5 years is starting a new adventure. On this day she was promoted to the rank of Black Belt, this promotion has been long time coming and she is now ready to begin her Karate training.

4AM burn at 0230..... and the gym was empty 2miles on the T-Mill Bi's and Tri's blasted......

Here was a statement that needed a bit more martialcation in regards to the appearance of a person's blackbelt.

Looks like a fresh black belt with not much wear and tear. That's the sign of a beginner, the sign of somebody whose really experienced would be a faded, worn out black belt.

Here is my reply
Never assume anything by the appearance of the belt....... this person may have been training for many years and just felt they were not ready to wear the black belt, and finally felt after 20 years of training they were finally ready... We cannot know what everyone's martial journey entails. Just my humble opinion.

Rounding out the week of Prime time burn, it is amazing how burst of endorphins and dopamine gives you such clarity and since of well being. Going to keep on hittin and gettin it Iron Tiger style. Stay tuned for more, going to start up the 30 day challenges again.

First Day Back after the covid.... had some new Tigers enter the Ambush.... I hope they will be in for the long hall. Action shots to follow.

Short but to the point, and now comes the annoying cough. But still had to hit it and get it. Prime time burn baby......this will serve me well for when I step back into competition.

So after battling covid it's my 3rd day back in the gym and the fatigue is horrible.....but you have to battle through 👊💪🥋🥷
