What a great turnout we had at Citygate Network!
We met some great people from organizations, and boy did they have some questions for us.
Questions like, “What does Canvas Cloud do?”, “What is Salesforce?”, “Can you help us with therapy notes and referrals?”, “Can you help us track inventory?”, “We have a bunch of systems and wish they could talk to each other or be centrally located, can you do that?”, “What about being able to find more potential donations?” and the list goes on and on.
The answer is almost always 100% YES, we can help you!
It got me thinking that it’s probably time to do a re-introduction of what we do and who we are.

Every interview you have you are selling yourself. Every time you speak about technology to a team that is going to be rolling out, you are selling a product with the intent the team accepts. We all sell somehow. Look at that!
I’d like to think I sell with connection. I love to network when I feel the connection.
I engage online to learn new perspectives with the world and hope to connect with someone for several reasons, but one of them, hopefully excited to learn about the technology I’m passionate about.
My team does the same. They are passionate about helping those that may not know what their organization can be capable of.

Joy.
The world has felt heavy for quite a while.
I try not to let parts of the heaviness steal my joy.
My current, new position, has had me deep dive into a side of that I have never been involved with from a perspective.
Nonprofits.
I’ve shadowed on project calls and am amazed at the impact Salesforce has had with them. The joy of the employees of being able to better serve their communities.
Being able to raise more funds, provide better programs, and communicate even more effectively. They are deepening their relationships with constituents and creating this trickling effect on their community.
They are so full of joy at being able to help others who may be struggling with situations such as being hungry, homeless, abused, addiction, etc.
How amazing is that to be a part of AND Salesforce helps with that?!?
Joy.
It has me excited to attend the upcoming event at Citygate Network that helps those in need. I hope we find more to partner with that contain that contagious energy of the joy of helping others.
That’s a journey of wonderment I’ll never get tired of being a small part of.

I’m craving funnel cake!
Funnel cake season is coming around the corner (shh 🎃 folks).
The more behind the scenes I get with Salesforce and just in general, the more I got to thinking about how there isn’t this “one-size-fits-all” data funnel for each organization, much less in a customer journey.
We are all almost like a funnel cake.
A funnel cake intertwines, wraps around, loops through etc., but still, it connects, even though it’s messy.
Think about your current and its funnel cake, I mean…organizations.
may use a certain software for specific target campaigns and research (intertwines); using a portal to log tickets (loops); using prospecting tools while also tracking wins and losses (wraps around).
All these organizations speaking to the same (connects).
If you currently have or are in the process of inquiring, think of all the seamless integration you can do with that intertwining, wrapping, and looping.
You can connect them all together.
The best part. You are mapping out your customer journey…aka that sweet sprinkle of powdered sugar on top.
