Make S58 Single Turbo Conversions Great Again!

For all of you S58 single turbo conversion folks, this feature is for you. We've been running this feature on our development G80 M3 for over 6 months with success. Due to popular demand and because we've had it done for quite some time now we've decided to share this feature with y'all today!

🔸Do I need this feature?
If you don't have a single turbo conversion on your S58, don't worry about it. Otherwise, its something to consider.

🔸I do have an S58 single turbo conversion. Do I need it?
Many S58 single turbo conversion cars have run seemingly countless passes with factory O2 sensors in the exhaust manifold, pre-turbo, for a while now. Over time however, we know that Bosch O2 sensors which are exposed to immense pre-turbo/manifold heat and back-pressure, do experience premature failure. High back-pressure and heat of the exhaust manifold location also affect lambda readings which is never great. More heat/back-pressure, more deviation from actual.

🔸What do I do with my 4 OEM O2 sensors?
You can remove the Bank2 sensors entirely. Bank1 primary and secondary sensor should be moved from the manifold to the downpipe (similar to how for instance B58 have them).

🔸How do I get this update and what about FEMTO unlocked DMEs? Can I just re-flash and get it without resending to FEMTO?
Those S58 vehicles with single turbo conversions that don't require a FEMTO unlock (bench unlocked/cloned DMEs, pre-LCI X3M/X4M) can use this feature immediately.

Those with FEMTO unlocked DMEs, due to limitations around FEMTO unlock process, will need to resend the DME to FEMTO to get them to load the new software on the DME so you keep your unlock.

🔸I just sent my DME to FEMTO. Will I get this?
Yes. For any DMEs that FEMTO unlocks starting tomorrow, Friday, Feb 23 2024, it'll automatically come with v1.1 of the S58 CustomROM.

Feature is NOW available on the Web version of the app. Mobile apps for iOS and Android are awaiting approval by Apple/Google before they go live.
