Posted on a sunny day ☀️☀️ website is now live with summer offerings for 2024. Weeks 1-4 all in June, perfect for ages 5-12 yrs. Your child will have the opportunity to explore a variety of art mediums and create multiple projects using high-quality materials. With a focus on expanding creativity and taking home completed works of artwork filled with their creativity and imagination, in a fun and supportive environment. Sign up today! After three meaningful years of artistic exploration at our current location, I’m thrilled to let share what I’ve been working on—we’re moving to a new spot right in the heart of Pleasure Point. This decision comes from a place of wanting to provide an even more enriching artistic experience for our young artists and to offer a wider palette of creative opportunities.

I want to express my deepest gratitude for the support, trust, and the beautiful moments we’ve shared in our current art space.

About the new location, it’s nestled next to Two Birds Books, just across from Verve Coffee, and a skip away from shopping and the beach. I can already feel the positive vibes! This move opens up exciting possibilities, including adult art programs, weekend workshops, extended hours, and more chances for your young artists to flourish. The Early Spring Session will begin February 20th at this location.

I can’t wait to continue nurturing the creativity and imagination of our growing artists in this new chapter

Join us for a one day art camp before many gather for thanksgiving. We will be creating and reflecting on this season of changing colors, textures and themes.

Mon Ami Art Studios currently holds classes inside & outside under a covered patio space with a view of the ocean 😎☀️🌊. With warm weather we get to do art outside! 🎨☀️As the days get shorter and the weather cools we will be inside all cozy.

Yay! Classes August-September are posted! The studio hours are Tuesday-Thursday after school hours. The link in bio will lead you to the schedule. The beginning of the school year can be a whirlwind for children and families. It’s a time of perhaps a new school, new friends, and new interests. This is also a time when having moments for creativity and stillness can help process and connect all the new beginnings.

Botanical collage is my new favorite project this summer. We took time to design our own botanical gardens, inspired by what we already see and know, and translated it into paper and color.

We had a lot of fun with these! It’s fascinating to see when children stop to look at themselves in the mirror what they choose to express. Some are focused on proportions and getting everything measured correctly on their face, some are more comfortable expressing themselves in cartoon, and others are ready to get really wacky with it. 🌷🙃🤪🥸🌱

Mon Ami art studios is a children’s fine arts studio focused on nurturing, individual expression, and creativity through process based art. Including mixed media, printmaking, watercolor, acrylic, painting, plaster, sculpture, etc.

Hi! Our Spring session 2023 is coming to close this week but our May session starts up next week! May will be four weeks long, packed with mixed media and plaster sculpture exploration.

Summer starts in June! We have Summer camps through June, July, and August, and something special for our Teens all summer long. Come for one week or many weeks 😊 each week we explore new mediums, new concepts without repeating a project. Winter themed artworks are so magical ❄️☃️
The studio was donated beautiful wallpaper to use for these collages and it shows! Growing up collage was not my favorite medium, but seeing how my students have taken it and added their own imagination, transforming texture and shape into their winter scenes has brought me so much more appreciation for this medium.

Colorful worlds and homes! Watching young artist make and mix their own colors is so special. We all learn so much from play and experimentation. What a beautiful way to capture both.

Pre-teens love their animals 🤩🎨🐼🐺🐱🐰. Here we learned how to free hand draw with brush and ink, then they layer in color with tempura paint.

Time to share some Artwork! 🦄🎨🖼 in our late fall session students were challenged to create a painting out of fabric collage. I’m so proud of their hard work and how they turned out!

Starting Nov.3 Mon Ami art studios will be partnering with The Circle Family Center in creating a drop in art class for ages 4 to 7. Much like our other classes, a more exploratory approach creativity is supported. Students get to create with multiple fine mediums watercolor- print -making -acrylic -ink etc. please check out The Circle Family Center for more details-they also have 10% off for Mon Ami families with code MONAMI
