The primary reason for checking your feet before an adjustment is to identify potential postural distortions in your body's overall structure. Discrepancies in leg length can indicate changes in the spine.
After identifying any discrepancies, the doctor performs an adjustment aimed at correcting the spinal alignment. Once the adjustment is made, your leg lengths and range of motion are rechecked to ensure the correction is effective.
Upon applying the proper adjustment, the discrepancy in leg lengths is typically resolved, and the previously fixated joint begins to move more freely.
