Hey, it’s Jung. First of all, I want to thank @al_bert_chiang for making this collaboration shine. I asked him to play songs that share the same vibe as my playlist but might not be well-known to others—a pretty unreasonable request—and he did an amazing job. Thanks again for bringing magic to one of our Sundays. I always tell my team: we sell ice cream, but we’re not just an ice cream shop. 626 Hospitality started with ice cream, but it doesn’t end with it. I hope this is the beginning of many projects with artists of all kinds—musicians, chefs, candle makers, florists, baristas, visual artists, and more. Despite our small shop size, the noise of our soft serve machine that’s older than I am, and a sign that overheats and sometimes burns out due to the summer heat, we have our amazing staff who pour their hearts into making the perfect cup of ice cream, customers who line up in the scorching sun even before we open, and our neighbors who cheer on everything young people come together to do. All of this combines to create those beautiful moments like in the video. Thank you so much for always supporting us and cheering us on, no matter what we do. We’ll work just as hard to give back, thinking deeply, acting boldly, and delivering results that truly make 626 shine. Oh, and we’re giving out free stickers, but please don’t just leave them on the ground. If I catch you, you’re getting less ice cream next time. With love,
